*Ezra's POV* Mr. Hallway was taking attendance when it happened. "Ezra Monroe?" The room went dead silent. I didn't even look up from my notebook. "Here." "Wait." A girl two rows over spun in her seat so fast her chair scraped the floor. "Monroe? Like, *the* Monroe? From Ashford?" "That's what the roster says," Hallway said, already moving on to the next name like it was nothing, like he hadn't just detonated something in the middle of first period.

I was terrified and panicked by my thoughts. I couldn’t believe nor expect Dicken to care about me above his alpha position as a wild beast. After all, I am of a different species. When the red merman placed his webbed claws on my neck and licked my ears with his slippery tongue, I couldn’t help but burst out a few broken syllables from my throat, “Di–ck–en.” The red-haired merman stopped caressing and then uttered a few syllables that sounded like a sneer. He thrust his fishtail forward and inserted them directly between my legs. Then he began to imitate my voice and teased ironically, “Di…ck…en…”

According to Allen humans are actually jelous to these small creatures beacuse they enjoy their life without any worry like humans who have only worry in their life. As for Allen ,if she tell about herself then she is not that lucky actually she is not lucky at all, according to her, she is one of the most unlucky among all the human. If you aks why? Then it's simple, she never feel what freedom is? What actual happiness is? What actual love is? Beacuse she never feels freedom, happiness and love. She never enjoy anything, she never enjoy happiness, she never enjoy love, she never enjoy nature.

But, with William’s size and strength, he managed to get to it first and sealed it shut. His smile is of a Cheshire’s cat, a victorious grin. Minerva went to the opposite side of her bed. She looked back and fathomed that the only thing on her back was the wall with a closed window a few inches from her. Her bed for years in front and a tiny bed-side table with a cheap lamp that she bought from Etsy. Technically, she’s trapped. “Come here, Minerva.” She tried not to cry or even shed a tear but her emotions seemed to conquer over her mind. She did shed one tiny tear. Then followed by another.

I was keeping an eye on Minerva for the past good year. The day she was brought here wasn't the first time I saw her. I saw her way before and my mind screamed mate. I begin to follow her everywhere and did some digging about her. Whenever I was close to her I felt a strong power in her so I asked one of my witch friends to help me figure it out. She took almost three months to find out about Minerva and told me my mate may look like a normal human being but she is far from it. She has got strange powers in her that will be revealed when she is eighteen but dammit. She is not eighteen yet.

I facepalm internally. “I’m sorry, I just… I… Can I leave? I’ll come another time to— I’ll go get new ones…” I stammer. “No. Clean up this mess immediately.” “But sir—“ “What have I told you about buts, Minnie Mouse?” Ah yes, the only form of humor Scott has is calling me that nickname. Other than that, he is as cold as ice and very inconsiderate. “I’ll clean it right away.” Minutes later, I'm cleaning up his office while he and this woman switch positions every five minutes.

I said as I crossed my arms in front of my chest. "I love mint choco." He said and I stopped. "Disgusting!" I hissed and he laughed. "Why is that disgusting? It's good." "I feel like brushing my teeth when I eat that flavour." I shook my head. "Do you have a pet?" He asked. "I have a black labrador at home. How about you?" "Really? I have a labrador too!" He said and I turned to him completely surprised. "Millie.. her name." "Blue.. his name." I turned to him and looked at him straight into his eyes.
