Not some hot cheese! Josh didn't budge an inch. His lips parted in anticipation of speech and went slack. He swallowed at last and spoke with an even tone that contained a strain of tension within it. "I don't mind," he answered with a steady voice. Grinning unevenly that didn't reach the rest of his face, he added, "You alright? You need to get up?" I nodded with excitement. "I can," yes." I pushed myself against the ground and stood this time without stumbling. Josh arose with ease onto his feet. He was taller than my memory had conceived of him, stronger built and confident. His dark eyes ran over me briefly before smoothing the blazer.

“And you’re not?” “Yes, Tyler is immortal, as long as God is by his side. Me? My life has a limit. I am still in the teen years of my life.” Josh said with a smile. “Teen years? You mean you’re between thirteen and nineteen?” Hugo asked. “Yeah, guess how old I am,” said Josh. “Nineteen,” said Hugo. Josh laughed. “Seventeen ...” “Seventeen?” Hugo asked in shock. “Am I older than you? I am nineteen. ”

Chris said to him but Josh looked like he wasn’t listening, almost like he was in a trance, and just kept hitting his friend. Frank jumped into the ring and grabbed Josh off of Chris, trying to get him to calm down. “Josh, relax buddy,” Frank urged him. “No, no, no! I won’t let you forget her. I won’t let you forget Hannah,” Josh screamed frantically as he was pulled off Chris. “Calm down, dude. What’s wrong with you?” Frank asked, worried about his friend. “I’m hers and she’s mine, for all eternity,” Josh screamed again and then, he started convulsing uncontrollably.

Josh gave Kale a scornful look before adjusting himself on his seat. Kale couldn’t help but smile. Annoying people was her profession. “Are any of you vegans?” When he got nothing but confused looks and no replies he assumed they were not. “Open your plates. What are you waiting for?” It was clear Josh didn’t like their company. He was the type of person that enjoyed being alone. He preferred to chat with someone over the phone than in person. He wanted peace but no, he can’t have that simple thing. He is being surrounded by people but worse, people from a different dimension with no knowledge of what the modern world was like. Pathetic. Josh said in an unusual cold voice. Chris really hated it when josh talks to him like that. To be honest, most people fear josh almost as much as they fear Alexander. Alexander always had his cold face on making people feel wary of him, while josh, on the other hand, is always wearing a calm and composed look. His innocent childlike eyes also make it hard for people to feel wary of him, but for people who have seen him fight, they have never been able to erase the picture away from their mind. He was really a terrifying beast.

he shouted, just as a rogue wolf lunged toward me from the side. Without hesitating, Josh leapt into the fray, transforming midair into his wolf form. His fur, a striking blend of dark grays and earthy browns, bristled in the moonlight as he threw himself at the rogue with a snarl. His teeth flashed as he collided with the rogue, knocking it off course and sending it sprawling to the ground. They rolled together in a tangled, snarling mess of fur and claws, but Josh was quicker, more precise. He locked his jaws onto the rogue’s shoulder, holding firm despite the rogue’s desperate thrashing.

I expected him to pull me behind him, to be the brave boy who had just been crying over my bleeding fingers. Instead, he dropped his half of the bread into the dirt. He scrambled away from me so fast it felt like my skin had burned him. He wouldn’t even look in my direction. His eyes were wide, terrified, and fixed entirely on Anna. “It’s not what it looks like, Anna,” Josh whispered, his voice trembling. He didn’t sound anything like the boy who had just been holding me. He sounded like a dog begging its master not to beat it. “I was just telling her to get back to work. She was slacking off.”
