I feel like I can't breathe and I need him to stay away from me immediately!

Josh told his mom while going down to dining room. “Sweaty you go and bring him down” she said to me. I am close to Joshua he is a sweat kid. I don’t know what issues he has with Josh but despite being brothers, they hardly talk if only it’s mandatory. But he and I are close. It’s like we have different type of connection. He is fifteen; I have known him since he was lil kid. He is very different then Josh. He is smart, intelligent and very adamant kid. If he asks for something, he wants it at any cost and he won’t listen to anybody, only I can get him.

A nervous sigh escaped my lips when I heard heavy footsteps from the inside and I heard the lock unclipped and the door swung open. Josh was standing there in jeans, shirtless and was running a towel through his wet hair. He must have just gotten out of the shower. But where were his maids? He looked genuinely surprised to see me. “Yoo-Mi,” he blurted out, his body stiffened, goes rigid as he peered down at me. “Josh, who’s that?” Josh looked like a deer caught in headlights when I heard the sound of a woman’s voice behind him. My heart felt like it stopped in my chest, a ringing sound echoed in my ears and my eyes drifted from his face to glimpse over his shoulder, into his mansion.

When she looked up and saw the handsome face in front of her, she took a deep breath and asked, "Joshua? Why are you here?" The handsome young man smiled slightly and then said frankly, "Didn't you say you were going to send Howard off yesterday? I just wanted to come here to try my luck. Who would have thought that my luck wasn't bad, running into you.”? In fact, Joshua only told half the truth. It was true that he wanted to try his luck, but it was a lie that he found Chloe by luck. Because he used his father's connections to find her flight number and then came here.

Shawn completed. Joshua tilted his head feeling jealous that they were completing each other’s sentences and just nodded his head, he stuffed a potato in his mouth and said, “Well don’t let that stop you from doing your job. If push comes to shove, we should push them over a cliff.” Shawn looked at him and asked, “So you’ve killed someone before?” Joshua bit down on the fork and chuckled nervously, he looked at Aldridge and asked, “Didn’t Aldridge tell you?”

He complimented. “Well, I can’t say the same about you. You look like a mess,” She said when she saw that he looked worn out. “Yeah, it was a crazy few final hours at the office. We had a financial meltdown and…you know what? I’ll tell you everything after I get changed,” Josh said. A waiter walked over to him with an expressionless face and spoke. “Hello, good evening, sir. You must be Joshua Clinton,” He said with a posh accent.

“What names? We all know that Chloe had been trying to get close to Josh Reigns from the first minute he arrived at the agency. So what games are you three playing?..” Everyone glanced at Chloe. It was true. Chloe had been flirting with Josh! So what were the girls trying to do? Did they think they were fools? Chloe’s face reddened as her fists tightened. I can’t help but say, "Why does Josh always seem surrounded by arrogant women? First his sister, and now Chloe. He can find someone better."

| CHLOE POV | The living room fell into a heavy silence, the kind that seemed to press against the skin, making every breath sound too loud. I could see the turmoil behind Josh’s eyes, a mix of disgust, fear, and the desperate instinct to keep his secret buried, all clashing as he struggled to decide what to do. Josh’s gaze flicked from my face to my phone on the couch, then back again. I stood there, calm and naked, letting him see that I wasn’t the least bit afraid.
