I lied, well it's technically the truth. "Ain't you gonna get your lunch?" Angel asked. "I'll get it for her since she seems tired. What do you want?" Hottie asked and I told him. He got up and left to get our meals. Looking at them, I could see the slight resemblance. They both had jet black hair and adorable dimples but while Hottie had hazel eyes, Angel had silver eyes and a lip ring. "I'm sure you're now convinced I'm not an Angel?" He smirked.

“Let’s go see Sophia.” She nods, her smile shaky but genuine, and together we leave the room, stepping into the future that’s finally free from Darius’ control. “Wait,” she says, grabbing my arm. “What does that mean?” I frown. “What does what mean?” “What you keep calling me,” she bites her bottom lip. “Anima—” “Anima mia,” I say, smiling as I take her face in my hands. “It means ‘my soul’; a part of me I thought I lost until I found you in that little town.”

Her maid uniform slowly transformed into dark silver armor with large metal shoulder pads, a large chest piece that stopped a short distance below the middle of her torso, and metallic boots and gauntlets.

The witches closed in, their laughter echoing like a chorus of nightmares. Something inside Aqua snapped. A surge of dark energy, unfamiliar and terrifying, welled up within her. She felt her pendant grow hot against her skin, the clear crystal turning black as smoke. The air around her crackled with raw power as she turned back towards the attackers, her fear morphing into a blinding rage.

After a while, Everyone goes back to whatever they were doing and the girl Rhea walks up to me wearing black workout clothes. "Hey, Ava right?" "That's what the screen says, isn't it?" I snap with a smile. "Feisty, Love that." Before she gets the chance to speak more, another girl with blonde hair, blue eyes and an abnormal amount of lipgloss walks over to me. "Look, I just want you to know that you're not anything special just because you have a unique grade, you might have been where you came from; but in here, I call the shots, okay? So do yourself a favor and stay out of my way."

anime had become our little ritual. Whenever the topic came up, her eyes sparkled with an unmistakable excitement, igniting a fire in her demeanor. Her voice would speed up, full of enthusiasm as she animatedly discussed her favorite shows and characters. Her hands would dance through the air, punctuating her words with excitement, and I could see her passion radiate like a warm glow.

I find a fresh outfit before stripping out of my sweaty morning clothes. I put my old clothes in a basket. Each dorm room has their own personal maid that keeps our rooms clean and washes our clothes. Because apparently angels are incapable of taking care of that themselves. I go to my bathroom and quickly take out my contacts. The damn things dry my eyes out and burn like hell but the Council would kill me if I didn’t wear them. Light angels have light eyes and hair. Dark angels have dark eyes and hair. The Council forbids the mixing of the breeds: hybrids are killed on sight.
