A couple of cabinets that Katia figured held some utensils. To the right side of the bedroom were some more doors. One opened into a huge bathroom with the biggest shower and tub Katia had ever seen. Another opened a huge walk-in closet that already had clothing and accessories in it for her. The last door led to another huge room that would be a nursery someday, Nathan informed her. Each room had the same coloring except for the bathroom. The bathroom was all white tile with the tub, sink, toilet, and shower the color gray with dark purple streaks running through it.

There was another candelabra in the corner near the tub. The closet had dark, wooden doors and it opened a foot and a half deep with a clothing rod and a shelf at the top. I closed the closet doors and walked to my suitcase, dropping to my knees and opening it. Using the hangers that were on the rod, I hung my shirts and pants, and put my underwear in the drawers of the dresser to the left of the bed.

As I approached the walk-in closet, the sheer abundance of clothing overwhelmed me. It was a man’s wardrobe, filled with tailored suits, crisp shirts, and elegant accessories. The familiar scent that wafted through the air confirmed my suspicions about the owner of the room. To my left, the shelves were lined with an impressive collection of books, offering a glimpse into the owner’s interests. Beside it, a slightly ajar door hinted at the bathroom I was seeking. Stepping into the bathroom, I was greeted by a spacious and luxurious space. A large bathtub dominated the room, inviting me to soak away my worries. A separate shower provided a more invigorating option.

I opened one door and it led me to the restroom. The restroom right in front of me was two times bigger than mine back home, a glass see through shower, a large hot tub fitting two people, a water closet and a bidet. And shelfs that were all empty. I went out of the restroom and took the next door that led to the closet, I walked into it and I was speechless. The closet was so spacious. A glass box kind of cupboard was centered in the middle, for jewelries and watches, cloth racks, shoe racks, and lockers for a particular kind of cloth with labels.

Next to it were various shelves aligned with footwears which had a horizontal rectangular mirror opposite it. Where all these for me? I slid open the wardrobe and was met with various exquisite styles of dresses. All these were literally for me? I closed it back and walked outside the closet, the maid still standing fixed on the spot. I walked to the frosty silver door and opened it, peering inside. It was a barroom. The walls were covered with black marbles and the bathroom had a lot of walking space. My eyes observed a jaccuzi sized hot tub attached to the wall and a shower not to far from it as the sweet scent of lavender hit my nostrils.

It was replaced by built-in cabinets in an off-white finish. Every trace of my life, from books, awards, to pictures, was missing. The space was now furnished with clothes, bags, and shoes. My room in the apartment I had paid for had been converted into Cass’ walk-in closet.

I sighed heavily, sagging against the window sill before glancing around the room with floors so clean I could see up my skirt from its reflection. The washroom was a cubicle of soft brown wood with a vinyl green bathtub tucked into the far corner of the wall and the seamless wash sink so clean I couldn't bear to spit in it. I set to pulling my shit out of the rucksack and hanging it in the tall white wood of the dresser, checking carefully for any holes behind the wall now and sighing with contentment when the wood seemed to ho

I looked up at him, but he offered no further explanation. Instead, he followed my gaze toward two doors near the far wall. “One leads to the bathroom. The other is the walk-in closet.” His tone remained casual. “There’s enough space for your clothes because I don’t require much.” Then finally, he released my wrist and I moved toward the bathroom first, needing distance to steady myself. Black marble covered the floors and counters, giving the entire space a sleek, expensive appearance. A massive walk-in shower sat near the corner while a Jacuzzi tub rested beneath a large window overlooking the gardens outside.

He scurried off while Lana pranced into the bathroom. Just like the bedroom, the bathroom was exceptional too. Simple. Classy. Cozy. It had an Antolini Sequoia Brown wall over immaculate granite tiles on the floor, sink, and around the oval-shaped bathtub in the middle. On the left side, there was a large cabinet with three sections. One on the upper part held the towels, bathrobes, and hairbands. The middle held the toiletries and skincare products. The last part held small baskets that had makeup products, hairpins, and hairbrushes.

On top of the cabinet are different figurines and sculptures, then close to it is a magnificent white dressing table that houses my very few beauty products, and an equally magnificent mirror with the same golden design on its edges. There are two walk-in closets on opposite sides of the room. One is for Vincent and the other, mine. A second door closer to my closet lead to the bathroom. In there, we have a two-men-sized tub and a separate bathroom with a sliding glass door, a toilet, and a marble vanity set up with two large mirrors attached to the wall.
