Ryan hurled his rock at another, the impact staggering it long enough for Logan to strike. “That’s two,” Ryan said, trying to sound confident, though his hands were shaking.
Anna held the book tightly, its glow intensifying. She instinctively raised it, and a beam of light shot out, disintegrating a wraith that was closing in on Ryan.
