Lani calmly replied, "Because there are too few eyebrow hairs." She applied a blush on her cheeks. She chose a lovely peachy pink blush, making her face look more vibrant. Then, because she applied too much blush and felt the color was too intense, with uneven distribution on both cheeks, she applied some translucent powder to lighten it. I parted it to the side, letting it frame my face, and pinned one side with a simple gold clip. Subtle. Polished. Just enough to say: I belong here, even if I didn’t feel it. You don’t need blush because of your natural golden color. Just don’t rub your face or do anything that will make you sweat.”

Even if my eyes were open, I could still see her vividly. I arranged my pallet until everything was set, the only thing left to do is to get the brush and strike it in different ways to present her perfectly. White, Yellow Ochre, and Cadmium Red were inviting me, just by looking at them I knew I'd get her complexion seamlessly. Her skin is fair and glossy, like white sand radiating under the heat of the afternoon sun, or almonds blanched and then peeled. I'll add Cerulean for her blush.
