I asked, curiosity threading through my voice. The scout gave directions and as we passed by some pack territories, it was bad enough that I didn't feel any sense of familiarity about any of them.

I was stunned by her response but I nodded in agreement. “I will arrange for some scouts,” she said to me and I nodded again “Coordinate with Dominic,” and she nodded and she and Dominic headed off to arrange the scout mission. ******* (Ten hours later) I was sitting in my office with Jensen, Zack, Meagan, Dominic and Matthew, and Penelope Chaney. We were expecting the scouts back at any moment. They opted for travel in wolf form for discrete measures. So we had to wait until they were on pack territory until they could mind link. The room was silent.
