“I’ll keep them safe,” she whispered, her voice filled with quiet determination. “For him. For all of us.”
As she left the infirmary, a scout approached, his fur streaked with dirt as he shifted back into his human form.
“Luna,” he said, his voice urgent. “We found something at the eastern border.”
Elena’s brows furrowed. “What is it?”
The scout hesitated, his expression troubled. “It’s... strange. You need to see it for yourself.”
