Maria broke down, and wrapped her arms around my mate, hugging her back as she sobbed. Her body rocked, and her sobs filled the room, my mate kept her arms wrapped around her, holding her upright. My mate’s heart raced, and I knew that despite hugging the woman, she had tears escaping her eyes.
