Dear Readers, I wanted to take a moment to address a change that you may notice in the new chapters of my book. After much consideration, I have made the decision to switch the point of view from first person to third person. While the original version was written in a more personal and intimate style, I realized that third person would better serve the story and allow readers to see a wider perspective of the characters and their experiences. This change will allow me to delve deeper into the characters, and I believe it will make the book more interesting.

I was disappointed in myself for knowing nothing, yet I pretended I did. “You see,” Lawrence uttered as he sat up and met my gaze. “There are things that seem pointless if you look at it from your own point of view. It doesn’t mean you see this and hear this, then you know everything. That’s the main reason why there are many two types of POVs in the story. First-person POV, and Third-Person POV.” He gave me a satisfied smile as he leaned closer.

THIRD PERSON POINT OF VIEW Petal stood in the center of the room, her red eyes drinking in the breathtaking beauty that surrounded her. She had missed the last time she was here. Now, in the soft glow of the chandelier's warm light, the golden accents on the walls gleamed, the intricate furnishings and rich carpets adding layers of opulence to the space. It felt different this time. There was no darkness, no tension, only a calm almost ethereal peace that seemed to settle around her.

One long slim hand tucked under her chin and the other lay along her side, relaxed and beautiful in its unconscious pose. In those minutes of observation, Joey knew that he loved this girl. That he wanted this woman to be his. It was so sudden and unexpected as the sound of the first shell burst at the start of an attack. All his life he had waited for this moment, and now the realization that it had come at last gave him the same sense of shock as one receives when one expects a loud report, and because of the anticipation is more startled at the explosion.

No, right? "I just didn't like him. Isn't that normal? I didn't hit him, curse at him, or mock him. I just didn't worship him like you do, and that's considered making a fuss? "I'm your biological son. I don't think I've ever been unreasonable or slandered anyone. But the moment Edward shows up, you believe everything he says and think I'm the liar.
