The first Horseman to signify the end times.” I feel a shiver run down my spine, his words echoing with a weight of history and power. “The Horsemen? Like in the legends? The Horsemen of the Apocalypse?!”

The whole place was white and the only sound she was hearing was the sound of wind. "Are you all scared of me? Show your cowardly faces!" Sonia shouted. There was no answer and it got Sonia more infuriated. "You all are pathetic deities who do nothing but live up here" There appeared before her four beings all on horses and she knew who they were. She had read about the FOUR HORSEMEN OF THE APOCALYPSE. The first one was death and his brother Hades, whose brother was Ariel, whose brother was Baphometh; they were the guardians of the portal.

Samantha replied with an unhappy smirk after hearing Evander's words. Samantha raised her hand and made a gesture. Poppy, who saw this, quietly furrowed her brow in confusion, and a moment later, two men with dangerous smirks on their faces began to approach Poppy and Evander. “Looks like you need to be reminded of the consequences of offending me, Evander.” Samantha stood up from her position and nodded her head towards Poppy and Evander. The people closest convulsed and dropped instantly. The assault outside faltered. "Now! Forklift! Get that container over here!" Taking the opening, the three of us rushed to a nearby electric forklift. Together, we forced a fully loaded frozen-meat container straight up against the door, sealing it tight. The engine died. Silence fell over the warehouse, broken only by our heavy breathing and Tamsin’s uncontrollable sobbing.

Dink went into a trance watching a ball of shooting stars travel around half the monitors in the room and then disappear into a white vapor that evaporated into nothingness. “Do you ever have any doubts about what we’re doing here, Sonny Boy?” Dink asked Sonny Boy. “I got no doubts about nothin’,” Sonny Boy said. “When the Four Horseman of the Apocalypse come leaping across this planet while we’re watching it go up in ashes, there won’t be nothing left to believe or doubt. There won’t be nothin’ left of nothin’. And I’m going to be right here at the helm with the Good Lord standing right beside me.”
