I said a quick prayer to the moon goddess before walking up to the door and once I opened it, I discovered it was Hermes. Hermes took a quick glance at the room before turning to face me. The expression on his face was that of worry. "Are you okay, Antonella?" He asked. I nodded glumly and stepped aside. Hermes walked into the room and after looking round, he turned to me again. "This is yours?" I nodded in response and he frowned. "Be wary of the Alpha," Hermes warned. "I know he has a plan for you and it's not a good one."

Trix is still fending off a couple of gunmen, his wolf instincts sharp and dangerous, but I can’t look away from Salcom. My gut twists. There’s something off, something more sinister happening here. And then I see him. Hermes. “What the…” My voice trails off as my heart sinks. Hermes. Alpha of the Nardoos. But there he is, standing amidst everything happening, completely untouched, like the violence happening around him doesn’t exist. Salcom walks straight up to him, calm and deliberate, and I swear I see Hermes smile.

I weakly smile at grandpa, showing gratitude. "I have not yet formally introduced myself. My name is Apollo the god of healing and comfort. I am a killer as well, only I kill the heartless. Oh, come on, do not look so petrified. You already have Hermes and Poseidon in your midst. What is one more god?" He chuckles lightly and I see a few of our people also smile. However, they are not full smiles but it's a start.

Their Alpha, though old was as open minded as the Gen z and wouldn't mind siding with him if he did prove his case convincingly. She stepped aside for the family to enter. It was the first time I saw Apollo’s parents. His mother, Mira, was a tall she-wolf with a strong personality. Apollo got his straight nose and elegance from her. Rest of him was just like his father—an exact imprint, only younger and taller. And Artemis was a copy of his father too. Mira, the Luna of the Black Moon pack was one of the most elegant women I had ever seen. She had an aura around her that commanded respect.

And why is she here? "Can I ask you who you are then what are you doing at this place?" I ask her. "I'm Luna of the Blue moon pack. Alpha Samuel's Mate." WHAT!!!!

The paint was peeling now, chipped from the years. Atlas Andino's car sped around the block, squealing to a stop out front of his house. Atlas had been our neighbor since I was eleven. His family lived on the other side of town, moving here once their house had finished being built. Atlas's Dad was the Alpha of our pack, his wife the Luna. Both were fair to the rest of us, but were extremely strict. Our pack was the biggest in the country, the 'Full Moon Pack' our name. I had always hated the name of our pack, thinking it was too bland.

Lorenzo sent a glare at Charles, who suddenly found intese interest in the watch on his wrist. “Good.” He paused, voice lowering slightly. “And there is another matter.” The room quieted again. “We should hold a vigil this evening while we are all here," Morgan’s gaze flicked to him. A soft smile on her face. She nodded. “For Alpha Harold,” she said gently. “His Luna… and the wolves who died with them. Allow the survivors to pray to the Moon Goddess properly"
