ACE I surveyed Miranda from the corner of my eye as I drove to her apartment. She was nervous and she could deny it all she wanted but I saw it in the way her pulse hammered against her skin at the crook of her neck, in the way minuscule beads of sweat clung to her temple, and in the way she kept fidgeting or biting at her lower lip that now sported red cracks because she wouldn't stop chewing at it.

ari said. "Oh really did you see any food here" I asked looking around. " Yes there's food , fruit actually there" Aria said pointing at the tree with purple flowers. " You must be kidding me right, can't you see it's just leaves" I said getting annoyed. " I can't see any fruit either cause I'm hungry too" Elia added. " Seriously Elia don't tell me you're hungry too" I said. " I am" Elia said rubbing her stomach.

I shrug. “Okay, I like her.” she points to me and looks at Rhea. “I’m Veronica by the way. Veronica Ryan. Grade B.” “Grade?” I raise a brow, confused. “A Grade basically tells how dangerous a person is. And before you ask, the difference between A’s and B’s is that A’s have committed murder.” “But mine is asterisked?” “It’s never been given before but I’m guessing it means numerous counts of murder.” Yeah. That makes sense.

In return, her friends share their unique insights on literature and art, broadening Nana's horizons. They even form a small study group for English speaking practice.
