“How about this, I’ve pretended to be you in school before, so I’ll pretend to be you tonight and sleep in your room with Jeongguk tonight. Then we can talk to Taehyung tomorrow about maybe having you share the room with us. Does it sound okay? Ariana quickly nodded, desperate for anything, an escape or excuse from Jeongguk’ s hateful eyes. The world was indeed a very small place. She’d had a cold bath and thought about Taehyung all afternoon. At dinner, she’d avoided him, fearing that he might catch on, especially because Ariana had never bothered to pretend to be her. For good reason, she was the ugly twin after all. Ariadne had a book in hand, laying lazily on her bed in pajamas shorts wi

I let him in. “I’m sorry I'm late my lord.” Clayton bowed his head in apology. “No matter, what's your news?” “Everything is clouded with the gossip surrounding Arkane’s fiance going missing.” Clayton shook his head. “Her brother, Greyson Smythe, swears she just ran away and is threatening to strangle her when he finds her. But, Arkane is circulating the idea that she has been taken.” I heaved a heavy sigh. “Of course. That's exactly what we need right now.”

A dark red cloak with the Lycan’s insignia was wrapped around her slight frame. “Ariadne!” he shouted. Her green eyes flicked toward him. His heart thudded. “Is that him?” Kurnich growled. He put his clawed hand onto Ariadne’s shoulder, lowering his wolfish head down to her level. Kurnich’s red eyes glowed softly. “... Yes,” Ariadne said coolly. “That’s my mate.” Archer felt his breath hitch as she said that. That’s right. He was her mate.

The whispers of the astral winds carried a gentle melody, harmonizing with the uncharted emotions that blossomed between Aria and the mysterious figure. As they ventured deeper into the cosmic unknown, the astral energies seemed to weave a delicate thread of romance into the fabric of their shared destiny. Lumina and Kairos, ever watchful, acknowledged the cosmic spark that kindled between Aria and her celestial companion. The nexus point, though fractured, resonated with the subtle symphony of budding affection, promising a celestial romance that would unfold across the cosmic tableau.

I ask for clarity. “Sort of. He can only project into someone’s mind visions of HIS past. If he witnessed or experienced it, he can show it. Nothing else.” I nod my head and look back at Harmon. He exhales to finish his pseudo-story, “And with that, the matter was settled. Fenry would take over if Arianna did not find her mate before her twenty-first birthday and her mate could not already be an Alpha of one of the packs; otherwise, Fenry would take over as Alpha King and Arianna would become the Luna of her mate’s pack.”

I look at Arkyn laying in the middle of the water and starting to stir; today, he turns five years old and will awaken once more. He looks just like Fenriz, but my Asian features are prominent as well, especially the shape of his eyes. I've allowed his hair to grow out too, just like his father's. The last few years have been hell but worth it in the end. This morning Hikari climbed the snowy mountain, and when she put her hands on Arkyn, a bright smile spread over her face.

The other nodded both raising their hands, the darkness strengthened, the temperature plummeting below zero, Layana shivered as the ground became covered in a layer of frost and ice. Meanwhile, Aren and Kayden had injured the Crawler and although it was still struggling to attack, the two had the upper hand. Aren was not known as an impressive knight for no reason, being part of the western army he had enough experience with beasts of all kinds that dared to venture out from the forbidden lands. Layana slammed another burst of power towards one of the remaining riders when a huge whip-like energy snaked around her ankle and knocked her back onto the ground, she was thrown onto her side as th

Anika said sadly. Slowly, the marks Anika had drawn on Arya's body began to glow, and Damian looked at her. "She's crossed. We can only wait and hope," Anika said. They both watched as the glow grew intense and blinding, until it gradually settled into a more steady frequency. ***

And so, with hearts heavy and hope blooming, they left the meadows behind, making their way towards Arnou's room, ready to explore the uncharted territory of their desires. -- Daniel watched the exchange with anger, he couldn't believe that Arnou would still kiss Daciana when he didn't love her, he made a solemn vow to kick his plans into action.

Chapter 8 – Luna Training Begins Ariana’s POV The courtyard still smelled faintly of blood when dawn bled across the sky. I hadn’t slept not really. Every time I closed my eyes, I saw claws ripping, teeth flashing, my own hands slick with crimson. And Kael’s eyes. Saints help me, those eyes would haunt me forever.
