CHASING RAIN

CHASING RAIN

, Rain stated. I smiled at her. "You know the saying that you should not judge a book by its cover but in your case you should be judged by your cover because what you are today is the best of you. Best of what you could have ever been.", Rain stated. "One thing I have learnt in my life is that you pay for your sins in this life and I seriously don't know how I am paying for them by having you.", I said as I pecked her lips. Rain laughed as I followed the lead.

The CEO's Addiction To Love

The CEO's Addiction To Love

“I’d like to apologize, Second Uncle. I didn’t think you’d keep your promise, and I yelled at you too. I guess I’ve misunderstood you. You were just teasing me.” Zenios stretched his right hand out the window and waved at Zachary. Drag racing was a form of art, one where a single, tiny mistake could lead to dire consequences. Zenios’s right arm may be injured, but that did not hinder his driving skills. Zachary had already tied his right arm. Regardless of how much skill he had, he was bound to lose.

RAINE

RAINE

There was nothing. Spotless. Raine was a person that looked expensive. I was one to notice what she was wearing just like everyone else, but I saw the wandering of her eyes. When she knew she was right, and had a ground to stand tall on, she never blinked. When she was uncomfortable, she'd roll her eyes before breaking eye contact. Many people would take that as Raine shrugging them off, but he from what he could gather, it was something that she did to hide her self consciousness. The truth it, she didn’t know how to react, and the rolling of her eyes, was the one thing that would get her out of whatever situation she was in.

Fated to the Beast

Fated to the Beast

There were some pictures and symbols that Rain had never seen before in her life. "What's this?" asked Rain. "Read it!" Chiel ordered. "What should I read? None of the text here that I understand. It is just a picture!" "Read it!" Chiel repeated a second time with a bit of firmness. Rain frowned and glanced at Jace for help. But Jace didn't even look at Rain. He was busy with himself looking at the collection of books that Chiel had. Rain was very frustrated. She didn't know what to read on the pages of the book on her lap. Everything is just black on the surface of the paper, which is brownish yellow. They were drawings like tattoo designs, but she didn't recognize the shape.

THE APPLE'S OF HIS EYE

THE APPLE'S OF HIS EYE

The guards' futile resistance crumbled beneath the weight of my determination. As I approached the compound's gate, my grip on the steering wheel tightened. There was no turning back now. With a surge of speed, I rammed the car into the gate, metal screeching against metal, the barrier shattering under the force of my will. Looking up in the sky, the weather was hazy, and rain began dropping from the sky. The rain poured relentlessly as I raced through the streets, my grip on the steering wheel firm. The world outside blurred in the haze, mirroring the whirlwind of emotions inside me. Thoughts of Lorenzo, Felix, and the treacherous events that had unfolded consumed my mind.

Nanny and Her Four Alpha Bullies

Nanny and Her Four Alpha Bullies

It pours. The rain comes at the car like bullets and pounds into the wind shield of Archer’s Jeep. It takes us an hour to even get out of the town. The whole time, Archer is silent. His grip is white on the steering wheel. His eyes are so focused on the road, trying to focus past the rain and on the yellow line. The rain begins to pound harder at one point and the view through the wind shield is nonexistent. The car skids slightly on the road and we narrowly avoid having another pair of headlights crashing into us.

Tammy Abadie
It’s frustrating when an author starts a new book and posts it chapter by chapter yet never finishing all the other books she has posted. As of count now there are 7 completed books and 11 unfinished books. Not sure if she’s doing to make her readers mad or she’s ADHD and can’t focus. Very selfish!

Mated To The Quadruplet Alpha Who Bullied Me

Mated To The Quadruplet Alpha Who Bullied Me

Chapter 89: Downpour Avyaane pov The rain came quickly and fiercely. It hammered against the windshield in a steady pace that mirrored my heartbeat. Blair grumbled under his breath and squinted through the rain. His knuckles were white on the steering wheel. "We should pull over," I said. He shakes his head. "The hotel is right up ahead. "We will make it." I wasn't too sure. The wipers waged a lost struggle with the torrent. The world appeared like a watery blur through the glass. Trees appeared out of the gloom and faded as fast. Blair leaned forward, looking into the gray. His jaw was firm, and a muscle ticked in his face. This wasn't the Blair I knew. The smug grin had disappeared, replac

A Ruthless Revenge: the Billionaire's Ex Wife Is Back

A Ruthless Revenge: the Billionaire's Ex Wife Is Back

The headlights cut a pale tunnel through the rain, glinting off the puddles like broken mirrors. “Don’t do this!” Damien shouted, his footsteps slapping against the gravel. I revved the engine once—loud, defiant. “You should have stayed out of it, Damien,” I muttered under my breath. Then I hit the throttle. The ATV lurched forward, wheels spitting mud as it tore down the flooded path. The rain whipped against my face like tiny shards of glass, but I didn’t care. I leaned forward, gripping the handlebars tight, feeling the vibration in my bones.

The Billionaire's Hidden Love

The Billionaire's Hidden Love

The suspense was eating away at my soul. The death car wiggled as it opened on the final floor. I stepped out for a second and the eerie silence that smacked me was deafening. The glasses were soundproof, so I couldn't hear the paters of the rain against the windows. I could see, the death race down the transparent frame. Even raindrops competed to survive, some merging with the others…it was poetic for a business world—a dog-eat-dog world. What the fuck, Oliver? They're just fucking raindrops, not some conspiracy bullshit, get in there!
