I yell at him and stand so that he isn’t towering over me more than necessary. “You are going to be my wife! I can tell you to stay away from any man trying to take you away from me!” I growl in frustration. “No one is trying to take me away Artemis! He’s teases about being with me, but he has a boyfriend so calm down!” That has his mouth snapping shut. “What?” “He’s gay Artemis. It’s a joke between us. Okay? Will you calm down this caveman shit? It looks bad on you.”

He’s snuggling her with questions, she looks at me, smiling. “Mine.” My wolf growls at the young man been so close to her. I radiate jealousy as I see the man touch and hold Justin’s hands. “Stop being a creep.” Justin tells the young man before turning to look at me. He turns and notice I’m sitting in the room in the clinic. “I’m Luke, Justin’s brother.” He gives me his hand for a handshake. I stood up from the sit and take his hand. “I’m Arthur.” I say respectfully and with a smile on my face.

‘You like to get to the point, I see.’ Artemis growled loudly. ‘I don’t have time for this.’ Artemis took a stance that showed she was ready to defend herself and rip this wolf’s throat out. The other wolf was a silvery grey, with stark blue eyes and black paws. He was smaller than she was, so she knew this wasn’t an Alpha wolf. Maybe a Gamma or worse; a rogue. The grey wolf pounced towards Artemis and as he jumped, she slid underneath him and caught his belly with her paw, while grabbing his back paw with her teeth. She flung the wolf away from her and the wolf let out a small yelp.

She bellowed back with glee in my mind. Artemis approached us circling and sniffing then he rubbed his body against my own "Let's go little wolf," He spoke to me in the mind link and then bolted into the trees. Following him was easy as I caught up quickly and passed him. We ran for miles until I picked up the scent of a nearby creek and changed direction to head to the creek. As I approached the running water I spotted a large swimming hole. Leaping off a nearby cliff I plunged into the cool water, when I came up for air a large splash hit me from Artemis's large body hitting the water next to me.

I don't think it's going to be difficult, considering that Arthur also always wakes up at 1 pm so there won't be a lot of orders. But why do I feel like he's going to ask me something weird? Crap, he better don’t do that. “Arthur, you can’t do it to a patient” I smile at him, try to convince him that I will be a bad errand type. “It’s okay, only me who knows it. Plus, I can keep a secret” he winks. “Asshole, go away!” I answer immediately. His laughter filled the room, he must be happy that he successfully teases me. What a jerk. Arthur opened the plastic bag and took out one orange from there, he slowly peeled the skin and cleaned it before handing one to me.

And the color of my skin never hides when I blush so it's always hard. "What's your name?" Now he stood right beside me leaning on the basin and looking down at me. Okay, how the hell was he this tall? I looked like a minor in front of him. This was so unfair. And not to forget his deep baritone voice. It was so smooth just like butter. Ew Arabella really? "Arabella" I replied. He hummed before folding his hands and damn I almost swooned. I accidentally glanced at the tattoo on the back of his left shoulder. It had wings and it between were two initials.

Mia on her part was trying to disguise her moves in case they were going to find her out like that. What a surprise, a rogue wolf jumped on Delilah calling her Raven. "He's a fool" Kathryn mocked. Of course he was or perhaps he wasn't told that Raven was a superior and a boss. The rogue was supposed to be looking at the ones with gloves.

"I remember. I had private trainers, but I remember how useful it was when I turned." He walked back over and handed me a piece of paper. "That's Wrens number. She's our best pup trainer. The other is Camilla. She's a councilor. She bridges the gap between human and wolf. Opens the door so the two can bond." He sits back down next to Alexi. I lift the paper and put it in my pocket. "Thanks, I really appreciate it." Luke nods. "So, this friend. Wouldn't happen to have long legs, long brown hair and big brown eyes by chance?" He smirks.

She had vanished as completely as morning mist. ‘MATE,’ Aeson projected, the word tinged with frustration and longing. ‘Where—‘ The thought cut short as something solid collided with my side—a white blur moving so fast I had no time to brace. The impact wasn't painful, but it was forceful enough to unbalance me, sending me stumbling sideways in surprise. Artemis landed lightly a few feet away, her posture playful, tail waving in clear delight at having successfully ambushed me. Her yellow-green eyes sparkled with mischief, her mouth open in what could only be described as a wolfish grin.

oh Goddess . the scent of her is a delirious mix of smells and emotions and memories: a wild run through pine forests, a plunge into cool water, the mewls of a newborn pup, the madness of the moon's call ... The other two wolves pad after her. Fulvio's giant ginger wolf (though he insists its gold-coloured) and Graydon Airwolf. Graydon seems so much younger in his wolf form. Elder hardly seems right though he has the same air of restrained power as in his human form.
