Melissa
Wonderful book, great character dynamic and storyline! Every emotion was tapped into! Enjoyed the Jake POV chapters at the end. On a serious not, Emma’s deep seeded issue are more common than we realize, and the issues associated with were address in way that encouraged & informed the reader!🤩💕

Amazing book! It was long but well worth it. I even wish there was more. I loved the bonus chapters but would also love an epilogue. There was a lot of character growth and maturity for both ML and FL. Looking forward to reading the other books in the series. Would love to see Daniel spin off.

It Ended on the Decade

It Ended on the Decade

I slipped down to the floor as I hissed in pain, my vision becoming darker. Samuel did not even look at me as he yelled at me impatiently. "Stop acting! How much strength could Morgan possibly have!" Then, he helped Rachel up and comforted her gently. "Are you okay? I'll take you to your room. Don't bother with this crazy woman." I watched them walk away together, and tears rolled down without a sound. So, this was what it felt like when a heart finally died. Not long after, Samuel stormed out of the study with red eyes. "Cindy! You went into my study and smashed it?!"

The Funeral That Ended Us

The Funeral That Ended Us

On the day of my mother's funeral, I sat outside the chapel, crying so hard I could barely stand. Three days earlier, my father had told me she'd died in a car accident. He said her body was so badly damaged that I shouldn't see it. I wouldn't be able to handle it. I believed him. I put on a black dress and sat beside her casket all night. Ten minutes before the cremation, my phone buzzed. A notification popped up for a hotel livestream. I opened it and froze. My mother was on the screen in an evening gown, smiling as my younger sister, Nina Whitmore, handed her a glass of champagne. My father sat beside her, his eyes red. "From now on, Nina doesn't have to live in Evelyn's shadow or suffer

Even Forever Ends in Goodbye

Even Forever Ends in Goodbye

You always want what you can't have. My voice echoed through the venue, carried to every corner by the speakers. Terrence's face turned pale. He opened his mouth to explain, but I didn't give him the chance. "To you, the unattainable is always the most desirable. But once you have something, you never cherish it. Someone like you doesn't deserve to talk about love at all." In the end, Terrence walked away, looking utterly lost and broken. I thought that would be the last time our paths ever crossed in this lifetime.

The Missed Ending

The Missed Ending

" I did not hesitate to dial 911. The cops were on it, fast, hauling us off for a grilling. They were ready to let it slide with a slap on the wrist until I decided I had had enough of Emmett's antics. Right there, with everyone watching, I whipped out the dirt on his company's tax scams. "Will this get him behind bars?" After that, Emmett got shipped back to Twilight City, his empire crumbled, sealed, and bankrupted. Chloe caught wind of the news and let out a sigh. "Jobless again. And your project—it's still on the shelf!" I gave her a reassuring grin. "Why don't you give it a shot, and I'll back you up?"

Deleted but Not Dead

Deleted but Not Dead

"It was our favoritism toward her that nurtured her greed and ambition. We enabled her. That's why she dared to do all this to you." "Jocelyn… are you scared down there? Mom and Dad will come to you soon, okay? From now on, we'll take good care of you… protect you…" Then, without hesitation, they pulled out surgical knives and stabbed themselves. Even I, drifting in the air, was startled. I hadn't expected such a decisive ending. Soon after, their bodies were discovered by patrolling nurses. Joel did not honor their will to be buried with me. Instead, he cremated them and scattered their ashes into the sea.

BLOOD AND VOWS

BLOOD AND VOWS

Alessio joined her without a word, his coat unbuttoned, the collar flipped against the cold, his hands bare, the scar on his left knuckle from his first knife fight still visible under the moonlight. “He wasn’t a good man,” he said. “No,” she agreed. “But he was our man.” Alessio didn’t reply immediately. He stared ahead at the line of trees that bordered the estate, as if expecting something—anything—to move. “They’re going to keep coming,” he said. “Yes.” “They’re going to keep dying.” She turned toward him then. “So will we.” He nodded once. “I’m not ready for the end.” “You’ve been ready since you picked up a gun.”
