I stand up slowly, my mind still reeling from what Orion just said. “We need to talk,” I mutter, my eyes meeting Nero’s.
His brows furrow, but he nods, glancing at Aeron before gesturing for us to follow him out of the room. Orion doesn’t move at first, but then he stands, his expression hard as stone. He’s keeping it together, but I can see the cracks starting to form.
Once we’re in the hallway, I turn to Nero. “Orion saw Zane,” I say, my voice flat, still trying to wrap my head around it.
