Right there I watch as my best friend turn into a werewolf, she was big, I felt my hands shaking, and I couldn’t that I was staring at a wolf I had to pinch my arm to make sure I was not dreaming. Tiffanye wolf was gray and white, the wolf looks at me whimpering, sitting down. “You can go and rub her head she wants to bite you,” Armando said. I walked over to her when I got close, I slowly place my hand on her head, and begin rubbing it back and forth I could hear the wolf purring, which made me chuckle. “ Does the work have a name?” I ask looking at Armando. “ Her name is Jezebelle”

When I approach I can see it is a very small wolf, Spencer’s wolf to be exact. “Zander what's going on?” Zander lets out a growl and he turns to me taking a defensive stance. Spencer’s wolf Lilly simply lets out a whimper. The sound shoots straight to my heart and I feel the need to comfort her. I take a step forward and I reach my hand out to run my fingers through her fur but Zander growls and I feel as he bites my hand. “What the fuck?” I pull my hand back and examine the bite mark and the blood seeping out.

Anger slipped through my voice. Gerwulf's eyes turned black slowly and he turned his back to me beginning to pace. His arms and hands kept moving, sometimes rubbing his hands through his hair and other times pulling it. He was fighting with his wolf, whatever was being said was angering them both. It seemed even years later his wolf was powerful enough to slip through and take over.

I'm kind of confused here. Okay, hold on...I'm supposed to be talking more with my wolf from now on. Therefore, that's what I will be doing. So sorry guys, I will need to reduce my talking to you all from now on to create that connection with my wolf. By the way, my wolf's name is Aura. Sounds cliche, right? With her name being Aura and me having all these abilities, it just seems perfect and in rhythm with what encompasses me right now. Anyway, it's due time I introduce you guys to each other. She was still standing in the same spot, looking at the space where the wolf had been. "You okay?" I asked. "Yeah," she breathed. "That was... intense. I think I need more pancakes." I laughed and slung an arm around her shoulder. "Let's go back. I think Lara is baking something in the park house and Ginger will probably try to follow you again." "He's a sweet kid," she said as we started the walk back. "Even with the red eyes." "He likes you. Wolves are good judges of character. If the pack accepts you this fast, you might actually survive me."

I walk to the area Margot ran into, and once in a safe place, I undress and shift, letting Jasper, my wolf, take control. Jasper is a large gray wolf, his fur turning almost silver near the tips. His eyes are a piercing gray, and he is one of the fastest wolves in the pack—only Luke's wolf, Ash, is faster. Jasper is on a mission to get to his mate and takes no time at all to start his chase.

The wolf, who had been busy chewing up Gavin, spat out his shoe and growled menacingly, followed by jumping on me. I sidestepped, but the wolf managed to push me down with its left paw. I let out a loud cry of pain when I felt it sink its teeth into my shoulder, but before any damage could be done, the wolf immediately retracted its teeth, taking a step back away from me, its green eyes staring at me as if staring right through my soul. From the corner of my eye, I saw Taylor throw a silver bomb at the wolf, who immediately growled out in pain, shifting into a very naked and muscular man, Alpha Alexander Pierce, my biggest enemy!

He and I were sitting on the visitor's chair facing each other with the files heaped all around us. I felt bad for a millisecond then shook it off because despite his efforts to connect me with one of these ‘eligible wolves’ they just weren’t doing anything for me. My mate had to be out there. Wasn’t he? I was a normal, healthy wolf from a strong bloodline. Even though my mother was human, I’d been born with my powers and I’d developed the way every other wolf pup had, reaching my milestones at the proper age. Except for that of a mate.

I asked with tears. "You're mine." His wolf responded in a deep tone, and I knew he was on the edge of exploding. Something was wrong, and not just with Gabe, but his wolf. "What is your name? You know Scarlet, seen her, spoke to her, but I don't know you." My hand brushed through his thick brown hair. "Ragnar, sweet little wolf." He responded and my lips smiled. That was a perfect name, a strong and old name of power and loyalty.

It hit like a tidal wave, dragging me under all over again. I forced myself to stand, weak and shivering. As I turned toward the mirror, something caught my eye, just for a moment. My wolf was there, but not like any I’d ever seen, she was massive, jet black, darker than night, darker than death itself. Her eyes burned like fire, vivid orange flames dancing in a soulless void. I screamed and stumbled backward, crashing to the floor, my heart pounding like war drums. When I dared to look again, she was gone. Only my own reflection stared back, shaken. What are you? I thought, clutching my chest.
