Violets and Ash

Violets and Ash

They showed more cheek than I was comfortable with, but part of me liked the adrenaline that came with trying something daring and new. “My favorite part are the straps.” Delaney gushed, grazing the thin pieces that crisscrossed around my waist with the tips of her fingers. “They draw attention to your curves.” Through the mirror, I locked eyes with Olive. A slow smirk spread across her plum painted lips. One I couldn’t help but match. “Hael Ashford, eat your heart out.” By the time we arrived, the party was in full swing. Since the Ashford estate sat at the top of a very tall hill, it was easy to see the number of students milling in and out of the house.

I had trouble putting this down. Probably my favourite so far. Love the way the characters evolve and the interchange between them. Definitely not lacking in lots of plot twists and turns. Just when you thought it was safe… well done, Jane. Can’t wait to read your next books!!
Author K.C Rae
Absolutely beautiful writing, it’s been about a year since I’ve read Jane Doe’s work and I simply cannot believe how much she’s improved (not that she was bad/mediocre before). The story itself kept you captivated with lots of twists and turns, the characters were likable and spice was 4/5 stars

Rising from the Ashes

Rising from the Ashes

"Wait! You didn't get into a fight with that little servant of yours, did you?" Andrew barked back, "Mind your own damn business!" He hung up without another word. On the other end, Chantelle raised an eyebrow, a wicked grin spreading across her face. She opened her laptop and quickly sent a video call request to Aspen. Aspen lay sprawled on her bed, utterly exhausted. Having kicked off her heels, her flawless legs, wrapped in sheer stockings, shifted restlessly on the sheets as she rolled back and forth, trying to calm her racing thoughts.

Reynir Kjartansson
Very good story and the ending was relatively good since each part of the story give a obvious closure. The audio book is also available the whole story. Other authors should follow this example. There is nothing worse than a forced ending or a cut off story, so this story gets all stars, great job!

Rising From the Ashes

Rising From the Ashes

Rather just digging as if I'm fighting for my own life. My shovel finally hits something firm. I continue to dig, creating a much larger hole around me. I brace myself, and carefully but powerfully slam the shovel into the top of the coffin. The shovel manages to break the wood. I toss the shovel aside, and pull up on the slats of wood. I manage to get a few loose, and toss them aside. I kneel down closer to the body in the casket.

Rising From the Ashes

I asked. She nodded her head as I climbed off her to get my phone. I laid down beside her and started to show her off the photos I had. I even showed her some videos of having fun, one of the videos was of Charlotte getting her heart scar on her back. The video was a long one as it took a while and a lot of cigarettes to get the finished product. By the time the video finished the girl was white as a sheet. I laughed as I climbed on top of her and started to fuck her dry pussy.

Ashes and Rose Petals

Ashes and Rose Petals

A tall, thin guy with a haircut that said he wanted to be important but couldn’t quite swing it, he leaned in closer to her ear and whispered loud enough for everyone to hear, “His girlfriend just died, remember?” “I remember,” Shelly said, throwing an elbow. She scowled at him, as if she wanted to say that was exactly her reason for speaking to Rome in the first place. If Rome’s “girlfriend” had just died, he would’ve been hurt by the comment, but since Ella was at home, safe and sound, he shut the comment out and was glad when the elevator doors opened. “Can we take a selfie?” Shelly asked, pulling her phone out of her bag.

Ashes and Bloodlines

Ashes and Bloodlines

Cassian replied him and then moved his eyes to look at Maximus who stared at Julianne like he wanted something from her. “Who is she?” Maximus asked and Julianne looked at him. Not they? She thought and looked behind her to be sure if Marianne was still with her. She moved her eyes back to Cassian and heard him say; “Ash. She’s a newbie.” “It’s Julianne,” she made herself clear and got a grin from Cassian. “Or could be Jules,” the other one said. Funny! Julianne rolled her eyes at the back of her mind. Marianne tugged at Julianne’s cloth again and Julianne asked Cassian, “Where is it?”

BENEATH HER ASHES

BENEATH HER ASHES

But the moment the screen lit up, my illusions cracked. “Power Couple of the Year: Jackson Jack and Delilah Tomson Stun at Hospital Gala.” “Love in the Ashes: Jackson and Delilah Stronger Than Ever.” “Amara Holt? A Shadow in the Glow of the City’s Power Couple.” The breath lodged in my throat. I scrolled faster, desperate, but each headline dug deeper into my skin. Not a single word about the fire. Not even one line about the victims, or the families destroyed, or the babies who never had a chance to live. My children were erased all over again, replaced by glossy photographs of Jackson and Delilah smiling like royalty.

Rising from the ash

Rising from the ash

Since going back to sleep was out of the question, she started scrolling through her notifications, hoping to at least pass the time. Her I*******m feed was the usual mix of posts from friends, influencers, and random pages she followed. She stopped at a picture of her high s cute girl named Chloe, on vacation. The girl was posing in front of a waterfall, her caption reading: *Woke up to this view! Can’t complain!* "Must be nice," Sophia muttered, double-tapping the photo before continuing to scroll. A few posts down, she saw a picture of Katrina—the last person she wanted to think about this early in the morning. The girl had uploaded a selfie with a few of her friends, captioned: *Some of

SHADES OF ICE AND ASHES

SHADES OF ICE AND ASHES

LILA’S POV The chandelier was a frozen explosion of crystal above the table, every prism throwing knives of light across the china. Eleanor Callahan walked towards the table with a man by her side as she gestured to the table. “Everyone, this is the woman joining our family,” she said, her voice sweet. “Lila Harper.” The name cracked through the room louder than the crystal ever could. Forks froze halfway to their mouths, conversations died mid-sentence. And about ten pairs of eyes turned to me at once, and I felt every single one strip me bare.

Love: A Matter of Conscience

Love: A Matter of Conscience

"I've been more than fair. Your apologies are too late." The next day, Lila texted: [Adeline, you're getting old. Don't ruin Frank's future. He's young, handsome, and successful. If you don't want him, let him go. I'm young and healthy. We'll have a lot of kids. His mom loves me and calls you a useless woman.] I wasn't surprised, knowing how aggressive Ashley was. When we first met, she had made me walk through a circle of candles and doused me with cold water to cleanse my arrogance.
