"What are you doing here? Haven't I told you I don't want to see you here?."
I swallowed hard, my heart racing. "We need to talk," I said, my voice firm.
Asher raised an eyebrow. "What could we possibly have to talk about?"
I took a deep breath, steeling myself for what was to come. "It's about the child," I said, my voice barely above a whisper.
