Claimed by the Fallen Five

Claimed by the Fallen Five

Kaine lifted both hands slowly, palms open, as if surrendering to a weapon he already knew could destroy him. At the far end of the corridor, Ashar dropped to one knee. Fire erupted around him, not from damage, but from memory tearing through flesh and bone. His eyes flashed molten gold, then ancient amber, then something deeper than mortal power. He grabbed the wall with one hand and dragged in a breath like he had just surfaced from centuries underwater. “No,” he said, staring at Mae with devastation written across his face.

Ashes of Betrayal

Ashes of Betrayal

" I was about to fall to my knees again. I would have. The pride and dignity I'd had walking in here had been gone for hours. I just wanted my father back in my arms. That was when the noise hit the house. A black SUV came through the front gate, straight into the living room. The floor-to-ceiling windows shattered. Glass flew everywhere. Through the dust, the driver's side door was thrown open. A tall figure stepped out, backlit. I could not see her face. I knew her from the way she carried herself. Cassia Wynn. The fear and grief I had been holding in broke loose the moment I saw her.

Frame Me

Frame Me

Ash pushed Jo behind him, “I'm sorry, Lenny. But we aren't going to hand ourselves over. Now get out of our way.” To Jo, he whispered, “I'm going to draw their focus on me by engaging them. When I do so, run.” Before Jo could reply, Ash attacked one of Lenny's men. This one was actually the least muscular, but Ash still looked like a matchstick when compared to him. He hit the man in his groin and he went down one knee. The other four descended on him, kicking and punching him. Jo was about to run when she heard Ash groan.

Rising from the Ashes

Rising from the Ashes

Asher gestured ahead and said, "That fortified mountain stronghold up there is where Cormac has been holding the standoff with the Greene family's Saintess. It's also one of our family's key defensive outposts against outside threats." As he finished explaining, all three of them had already walked inside. It looked like a mountain stronghold on the surface, but in reality, it was a whole military garrison manned by Cavendish warriors. They found Cormac quickly. He was in the middle of rallying his men when Asher called out to him. "Cormac!" "Asher, you're back!" Cormac spun around, and the moment he saw Asher, his face lit up with pure relief and disbelief. However, when his eyes landed on

Very good story and the ending was relatively good since each part of the story give a obvious closure. The audio book is also available the whole story. Other authors should follow this example. There is nothing worse than a forced ending or a cut off story, so this story gets all stars, great job!

Bound To The King Of Zidiah - Royal Wolf Of Zidiah, Prequal

Bound To The King Of Zidiah - Royal Wolf Of Zidiah, Prequal

Suddenly, both Alarick and I hear a voice inside and all around us. ‘It’s okay, Alarick. My name is Asha, and I am your mate! I will not reject you,’ Alarick howls again, and I clutch my head in both hands. The pain is too much; I’ve never felt anything like it! ‘Both you and Orrin have nothing to fear, Alarick. Anja is stubborn, but Orrin is her mate, as much as you are mine, and she knows it.’ ‘You bitch!’ Alarick and Asha laugh inside my head at Anja’s annoyance. ‘Mind your damn business, Asha. You don’t speak for me!’

The Second Chance Mate

The Second Chance Mate

"And this toper you claimed has to go now, love." Adom grinned, swiping Ash now damp hair back. "I'm sorry for holding you back here, baby." "I'll be back quick,." Ash said, finally standing up, he looked at Adom one last time before going to their shared closet. "You'll get the taste of this ass after the show tomorrow, I promise." He said, and just like that, Ash shy demeanor quickly changed into something more mischievous and it turned Adom on so much, seriously .

Rising From The Ashes

Rising From The Ashes

A narrator’s voice followed: "This is not a story of survival. It’s a story of rebirth." The final frame: "Rising From the Ashes. Coming soon." It went viral within hours. Across the city, Adrian saw the video on his phone. His knuckles whitened as he clenched the device. She had just declared war in the most public, glamorous way possible. He picked up his phone. "Get me Natalie. Now." Back at the retreat, Natalie received the call. Amara glanced at the screen and arched an eyebrow. "Adrian Sinclair." Natalie took the phone and answered. "What do you want?"

Ashes Beneath The Skin

Ashes Beneath The Skin

That same sense of being on the edge of something irreversible. Thunder rolled again, louder this time. The lights above her buzzed, then dimmed for half a second. She looked up. Something was coming. She could feel it in her bones. She turned, sensing eyes on her. The silver-haired man watched Kael disappear down the corridor, then turned his gaze to Isla. His name was Thorne—a former Ashen sentry, now Kael’s most trusted advisor. His eyes, pale grey and sharp as flint, missed nothing.
