The Second Chance Mate

The Second Chance Mate

“You heard him Bomby. No scary stuff.” “Don’t worry.” Bob who had been waiting patiently said. “We just saw Star Wars.” “Don’t make my kid nerds please.” Ash said. “What’s wrong with that??” Bob exclaimed and Ash laughed. “Just make sure to sleep soon.” He said. “Yeah, yeah, we know Ash. It’s not the first time. Wait.” He said, knowing already what the omega was going to ask next, and then shouted. "Jai!!”

The Ember In The Dark

The Ember In The Dark

I heard Levi yell at him. I could see more of the clearing now. In the distance was Ash's dragon. He had black scales that shined almost blue in the light. I could tell he was huge because he seemed so big even in the distance. His body was coiled around a large crystal ball full of dark smoke. "Brontus can't hold it together for much longer. We can't filter it all fast enough either. Ash this serious. You need to get help." Levi's voice sounded so serious. A deep worry laced his tone.

Rising From The Ashes

Rising From The Ashes

I feel the last string of connection of mind link breaking, sending a throbbing ache in my head. The harsh sound of tires screeching against the smooth road followed by a loud crash rings painfully in my ears. I look at the cars behind, bewildered at the sight of Nikona's car smashed into one of the cars that were with him.Smoke surrounded their cars and within a moment, a loud explosion takes place. The little hope that was sneaking in my heart dissipated to see Nikona who had jumped out of the car on time. His dark eyes directed to me but his attempt to stand failed and that striked a strong feeling of hope through my chest.

Rising from the Ashes

Rising from the Ashes

"Mr. Humphrey, maybe everything you said is true. But I still don't want to believe Shiloh is dangerous." Aspen chimed in, eyes flashing. "Exactly! I don't believe for a second that Shiloh could be that destructive villain you described. You've seen her! She's harmless, sweet even! Working part-time, up early, back late… how could she possibly be a threat?"

Very good story and the ending was relatively good since each part of the story give a obvious closure. The audio book is also available the whole story. Other authors should follow this example. There is nothing worse than a forced ending or a cut off story, so this story gets all stars, great job!

Her Second Chance Alpha

Her Second Chance Alpha

The wall created a spiderweb as Havoc's body was trembling and coughing up blood, but there was still a mocking smile that appeared on his lips while looking up at the person who was beating him. "N... No matter what you do, she is my mate." He said and coughed up blood. Just when Havoc was about to be kicked in his face again, as if it couldn't wait to crush his skull, I hurriedly called out Ash's name. "Ash!" Ash froze for a second, but he didn't stop. He raised his foot and kicked him again, breaking his knees, making Havoc scream from pain. I hurriedly stood up and ran towards Ash's direction, grabbing his arm and looked at him in the eyes.

A Heart Reduced to Ashes

A Heart Reduced to Ashes

However, I swear I'll start loving you right from now on and love our children the same way as well. At that moment, my face was already covered in tears without me knowing. Yoel reached his hand toward me from afar. "Please give me one more chance, Felicity. After you've crossed the bridge, let bygones be bygones, alright? Let us start from scratch again." Bobby shook my hand and said, "Ms. Allen, please just say yes!" He pouted when he said how great Yoel was, and Yoel even gave him some candy.

Bloodied Ashes

Bloodied Ashes

I know him without knowing how. His mouth is closed. Fear rises fast. Not fear that he’ll howl. Fear that he won’t. Fear that I’ve carried him through blood and ash only to pass down silence. “No,” I breathe. I reach for him. The distance stretches. “Choose,” I whisper. “Not for them. Not for me. For yourself.” His little chest expands. Then Ashen opens his mouth. The howl is clear. Not loud. Not violent. Not hungry. Clear.

Born of Ash and Night

Born of Ash and Night

My knees buckle, but I stay standing, teeth clenched so hard my jaw aches. Ashton lets out a low, broken sound—half-growl, half-sob. Maereth slams her staff into the ground. “Hold your hands over the fire,” she commands. “Together.” Ashton hesitates—just for a fraction of a second. Then he steps forward. So do I. We stand on opposite sides of the fire pit, hands outstretched, blood dripping into the flames. The fire roars in response, surging higher, brighter, heat slamming into my skin like a living force.

Ashes Before Dawn

Ashes Before Dawn

The wind scattered the ashes, and the rain soaked them, washing them away little by little amidst the flowing water. Sheila fell out of her wheelchair and hit the ground. Ignoring the pain, she crawled toward the drain, desperately trying to gather the ashes with her hands. It was hopeless. "My baby… My baby..." She could only watch as her child's ashes slowly disappeared. There was nothing she could do. It felt as though someone had torn her heart apart. She knelt in the mud, sobbing as she reached deep into the drain again and again. Her hands quickly became caked with filth, but she kept searching.

Secrets of the Ash Princess

Secrets of the Ash Princess

“Magister, why do we let garbage through the gates? Let me throw her to the stone giant and save us the paperwork.” I ignored him, but my left hand squeezed into a tight fist. My nails pressed hard into an old, ugly scar that hid my forbidden blood seal. It kept my real, dangerous ash-magic buried deep inside me. In this empire, that kind of magic meant death. It was the same power the lost Ash King used when he nearly burned the whole world a hundred years ago. “Put your hand on the stone,” Vane ordered. I stepped forward. My boots hit the hard ground, and I felt cold eyes burning into the back of my neck.
