His claws grew long, and he meant to strike her on the chest, ready to yank out her heart like he did Aspa. However, a block of ice smashed on his back, forcing him to free Alinta and fall to the ground. He sprang to his feet instantly, looking up at the newcomers. He had stalked Alinta; he was sure his attack was perfect, and if it weren’t for the uninvited guests, he would have killed her.
