THE BEAST IN ME

THE BEAST IN ME

He answered. His words made total sense. As simple as he looked, he was wise and very accurate with his intuitions. "So what's your decision father. We both know that when you cross the damn river there is no point of return." I reminded him. "Damon, That Beast is searching for a breeder. A bond and mate. If luckily Hera proves herself worthy and its instinct is drawn fully to her, it won't harm her. I don't want to think the worst that's why I still have a ray of hope that she is still alive and being kept well." He answered.

I am very impressed by this book. I love the pure fact this is an entirely different race of supernaturals from the norm. Also, love the fact the characters from this pack are still somewhat primal and that there is so much raw emotion. I can't wait for more chapters, it is definite worth the read

Beast

"What's she doing?" "She's looking for Beast. She wants to give him a thank you kiss." Someone made kiss smacking noises and Beast reached out and swatted the back of their head. When the two women returned to the elevators everyone cleared out except Christopher. He sat down and flipped cameras until he located Ashleigh and her friend. She looked good, healthy, pretty. He was satisfied that she was all right. But he still didn't turn away from the camera.

Rising From The Ashes

Rising From The Ashes

Clad in a plain black shirt as he walks through the door way. I walk to the dj set, and ask him to turn it doesn't. He does as I grab the mic and tap on it before speaking into it, catching everyone attention. “Hello~ lovely ladies and gentlemen” I catch a glimpse of Zion moving along with the crowd. “I know you are enjoying but do you know what's this bash for?” I ask, eyeing Zion who finally makes it in the front. “Tonight's Bash is for my amazing brother Zion” I drag the word ‘amazing’ in a slow silly way before adding,

Rising From The Ashes

Rising From The Ashes

Inpeaceplaceadorned grace
A narrator’s voice followed: "This is not a story of survival. It’s a story of rebirth." The final frame: "Rising From the Ashes. Coming soon." It went viral within hours. Across the city, Adrian saw the video on his phone. His knuckles whitened as he clenched the device. She had just declared war in the most public, glamorous way possible. He picked up his phone. "Get me Natalie. Now." Back at the retreat, Natalie received the call. Amara glanced at the screen and arched an eyebrow. "Adrian Sinclair." Natalie took the phone and answered. "What do you want?"

CLAIMED BY THE DEVIL

CLAIMED BY THE DEVIL

Trent tossed him the lighter and Axel caught it without looking. “What happened to Becca?” Axel’s gaze shifted to Trent. His expression suddenly flattened and the warmth in his eyes was replaced by a cold stare. “Becca?” He repeated calmly. Trent got the message. The look on Axel’s face said more than words could. “Rebecca.” Trent corrected, accompanied by a light chuckle. “She’s Becca to only you. Got it.” Axel cast him a short quiet stare before lighting the cigarette in his hand. He took a puff before speaking, “What do you mean by what happened to her?”

Ashes of Six

Ashes of Six

“We’ll do it together. You don’t have to prove yourself alone, Elias. We’ll clear your name, and we’ll burn out whoever’s hiding behind theirs.” The Concord Sigil flared bright across my chest, brighter than before, like it had been waiting for this vow. The crowd fell into a stunned hush at the sight, students shifting uncertainly, faculty exchanging worried glances. But not all of them. Professor Shara Baudoin, the Hawthorne healer, stepped forward, eyes steady, voice even. “The boy speaks truth. No one who fights like that bleeds betrayal.” Ashleigh Dana raised her chin, wild and defiant. “If the Interregnum has touched my House, then it is my duty to burn them out. And I will.” Her gaze

Bloodied Ashes

Bloodied Ashes

I hate more that part of me understands why they do. Understanding is not forgiveness. It is only harder than hatred. Branches scrape my sleeves. Mud sucks at my boots. My body aches in layers, palm, ribs, back, hips, the deep center of me where magic and motherhood keep arguing over the same blood. Ashen shifts once. I stop for half a breath. Kael turns. “I’m fine,” I say before he can ask. His eyes drop to my stomach. “I said I’m fine.” “I heard you.”

BENEATH HER ASHES

BENEATH HER ASHES

TWO HOURS LATER As Delilah stood at the door, ready to leave, wine-sweet and satisfied with herself, she turned to me one last time. “I hope we can be friends, Amara,” she said. “You seem like someone I can trust.” I smiled. “Of course, Delilah. I always keep my friends close…” I paused, letting my gaze harden just enough for her to catch it. “…and my enemies even closer.” She blinked, the color draining from her face for just a second before quickly recovering it with a nervous laugh.

Rejected and Reclaimed (The Alpha’s regret)

“He's very good at cursing back.” “Same here,” Angela nodded solemnly. “His dad might throw you off the building if he hears you, Becca.” Rebecca stared at both women before letting out an incredulous laugh. She turned to Dash with watery eyes. “Am I really getting fat?” Dash mentally accepted his fate. “No, baby. You're perfect. Come on, let's get you something to eat.” “But I'm telling the truth, Becca,” Axel insisted innocently. “Your mate is just flattering you.”

Ashbound Moon

Ashbound Moon

It wanted to fall into place. I forced my breath steady, the way my mother taught me, the way you steady your hands before stitching a wound. Then I spoke the only words that had ever worked. “ASH.” Black cinders rose off the floor, spiraling around the circle. The runes flared, resisting, but the ash didn’t care. It tightened, thickened, becoming a wall—around Dax’s ankles, around the etched lines, smothering the glow. For one heartbeat, the pull on him eased.
