As they walked toward the house, Nolan, who had tagged along earlier, stepped away from the entrance.
“Need to see someone,” Nolan said with a shrug, already walking away. “I’ll call you later.”
Asher nodded, then watched Nolan disappear down the long stone path before turning back toward Wilson.
