Boom. The sword unexpectedly slipped off Alora's hand as a sudden force shoved her onto the ground, causing her to fall hard with a loud cry. Without sparing any further second, Asher reached for the sword on the ground, and as he drew level with her, he pierced it deep into her chest. Her blood came spilling out as fast as her screams.

Alex yelled back. And then somehow, impossibly, Ashly was laughing. Her arm collapsed beneath her weight, and she fell backward onto the rug, shaking with mirth. A tear ran out of the corner of her eye, and she brushed it away with her knuckles and muttered, "Fuck, you're an idiot."

I turned on my camera, pointed it at myself, and shouted, "Grandpa! The sky is already turning red! Look for yourself! If you don't believe me, can't you at least believe what you're seeing—" Before I could finish, a massive flowerpot flew out from the yard and smashed into my head. Pain ripped through me. Blood blurred my vision, everything a wash of red. From inside the yard, Richard cursed at the top of his lungs, as if I were a villain. "How did Talia end up with a liar like you? Know I am with you in spirit always,” Asher professed and moved closer as if his ghost like frame could hug me, but with one shove, I flew backward and all the surfaces I once stood on were no longer holding me there. “ASHER!” I screamed as I slipped through the clouds, falling back toward earth. How was it he couldn’t touch me before but could shove me off the cloud? What the hell was going on? First, I was dead now I’m falling to my death again?
