When it was fully opened and billowed out over both seats, he said, “I’ll sit back against the door. You sit between my legs. We can wrap two blankets and the tarp around both of us. You can take the third blanket for extra protection on your legs and feet.” It was a good plan—as much as it covered. “What about your feet?” she asked. “No problem.” he replied. She peered toward the floor. She couldn’t see his boots. It was too dark down there. "I-I- "You what, Ashely?" He asked, stepping even closer to my body. "I suggest you step away from me before this knee causes some damage," I whispered slightly grazing my knee on the inside of his thigh causing him to immediately step back with his palms in front of his chest as he chuckled.

He stood from his kneeling position and pressed a hand to Ash back, trying to help him up off the couch. Ash want to punch this fucker now, what other option left for him then, you leave me and I can't let any other Alpha touch me and on the top of that I have child to raise. I don't have a time for this shit even it's kill me. Ash take a deep breath and helplessly nodded but when he moved to stand he felt his body cramp up again. Squeezing his legs together, he gasped. He walked barefoot, felt the soft grass and blended with the mother Earth. Asher messed up his hair, which was styled with the groom. His hair that fell gently on his high and wide forehead made him look younger and more liberal. Calantha did not know how to answer that question. “But, your shoes, I have just..." As Calantha tried to explain, Asher interrupted her. He said, “Calantha, you need to practice more. I don’t want you to step on my foot when you’re wearing high heels. It would be an awful experience for me.”

"Hailey, we are the patients in the same hospital, we should be companions. Why did you ignore me?" No matter how Asher tried to pester her, Hailey still remained calm. He rolled his eyes, grabbed his broken arms and suddenly whimpered, "oh my right hand hurts so much. It must be bleeding. Hailey help me, I am loosing balance...." Hailey turned around and looked at him calmly, "Your hand is injured, not your legs. Why can't you stand properly?" Asher appeared as if he was still in pain, "It is said that everything in our body are interconnected with our nerves. I'm not lying. I really can't work anymore, I'm going to fall down..."

His shin was burned and scarred, the skin wrinkly and white. It went from the bottom of his foot, spreading to the top and up his leg until just below his knee. Cailen knew he could poke the wrinkled skin and Asher would feel nothing, but if he poked the skin around it, Asher would probably chop his hand off. "It looks so gross," Asher mumbled, scrunching up his nose. "I've seen worse," Cailen shrugged, gently picking up his leg and setting it on the coffee table as he stood himself. "Your arm and hip were disgusting at first, if that helps," Cailen said, probably unhelpfully.

How could I be? Then, the door opened. Not forcefully or dramatically. Just… quietly. And there he was. Asher King. He was 6 ft 2 tall, with broad shoulders, his black hair was perfectly styled and his oceanic blue eyes were cold and captivating at the same time. He wore a black shirt with the sleeves rolled to his elbows and tucked in black pants. I had always heard from people of how good looking Asher King was, but truth was, their words didn't do justice to his real beauty. He didn't just look like a Greek god, he had the presence of one.
