I’ve taken Angie out dress shopping. She has a dance at her school that she is excited for. It’s her first dance, and she was asked by one of the guys in her class. She goes to a private school like Leo, Trey, Max, and I did. It used to be an all girl school when mom went to it, but they changed it about ten years after she graduated. Angie is freshly sixteen and totally boy crazy. She has a crush on the boy that asked her, so that makes this dance even more special. Mom was going to come with us, but I think she sensed Angie and I needed some sister time since we’ve barely had any for months.

I couldn’t hold back the tears, having my sister back meant everything to me. “Do you want to go on a run with us later? Mom offered to stay behind and watch over Asher. She can watch Amelia too?” Before I could answer the rest of my sisters came dancing near us “can we join your little dance party?” The music changed to an “Uptown Funk” from Bruno Mars and we all danced together. It felt like old times when we were growing up. I saw my mom watch us with tears in her eyes. “See everything is going to be okay,” Erica said happily.

It was like they were moving or something. "My darling, how have you been dear?" I asked with a smile. "I've been good. I've met him Momma you heard right? DSD also have two new members, Kim Lisa you should know her, she's a model and single dancer and the second member is the young beautiful kid. Momma she's so beautiful and talented. I love her a lot. I see myself attached to her in a way I've never imagined." She gushed in clear excitement. I smiled.

Elder asked, and Ashley shook her head. "I know if I tried to tell you anything. Damon will kill my mother; she is the only family left, and after Damon starts talking about Adira to mom, she becomes really happy. I see how she stares at Adira's picture, and so do her videos. I am sorry, Elder, and I am sorry, Queen. I just became selfish for my mother." Ashley said as she started crying. Monika cups her daughter's cheek as the tears start streaming down her face.

They participated in the ceremonies and were a part of the crowd to welcome Josie. My mother nods her head as my dad swings my mother away to dance with her. I turn Josie towards me, “What?” I ask her. “I do not like not knowing what people know about me,” she replies as she moves to walk off the dancefloor. “No so fast, baby. We are not finishing tonight with an argument. I have other plans and I am pretty sure you did as well when you put that dress on,” I say to her quietly with a smirk.

Though she didn’t dance herself, Meg quite enjoyed watching the others spin around the room. Alise was asked to dance by her own father, which was a bit of a faux pas in some stricter rule books since she was so young, but Meg found it endearing. She was hopeful that some of these ridiculous rules would begin to change. After all, she should be able to get up and use the ladies’ room without having to wait on an escort. Watching her young friend spin around the dance floor with her loving father was both joyful and melancholy. How she longed to have the opportunity to dance with her own father once more.
