Neither was he. There was something wrong with the air in first period. Honor noticed it the moment she sat down — a warmth, a kind of low hum of anticipation that didn’t match the usual Monday morning lethargy of AP English. The girls in the front row were already whispering, heads together, eyes on the door. I shook my head and increased my pace, trying to keep up with Edwin's long strides as he turned left. Soon enough, we were standing in front of a black mahogany door. He knocked on the door and waited. "Come in." A deep and low voice answered from inside. Shivers wracked my whole body and cleared my throat for the hundredth time this morning. The voice held so much authority and masculinity. "Alright, Miss Kayla. You may go in now. Mr. Marcello is ready to see you," Edwin announced, and I swallowed. Hard. I nodded my head and thanked him.

The Assassin said with an evil smirk. “Like you have the balls to do that!” Grace taunted. “Trying to make me angry my dear? Very clever of you, but I am not an amateur at this. We’ve spent enough time on chitchat, say goodbye, Kurt!” The Assassin said. The Assassin was about to pull the trigger, but Grace jumped and push the Assassin's arm up making him miss Kurt. She then stabbed Phoenix pin right into the Assassin's eye. Kurt shouted to raise the alarm as the Assassin pistol-whipped Grace.

Chapter 4 I parked my car in front of a building with more than three floors. After I parked the car properly, I immediately walked into the building. “Good morning, Ma’am,” Mae, who is also a member of the Black Assassin’s Squad, greeted me with a smile. But she’s not like me or Henry who kills people. She only became a member of BAS because she is the lady guard who watches over the first floor of the building which is the coffee shop. But even though she is only a guard, she is also capable of fighting. Because all BAS members, even the lowest members, also went through intense training.

It taught me all the skills one should learn to be physically tough. Feeling such sentiment today, I reminded myself that it was not one of the teachings in our guild. Getting vulnerable emotionally is really the worst enemy an assassin would have to deal with. We were taught that an assassin should never get involved with things too emotionally. Because those useless emotions would only lead a person to his own doom, to his own hell. The next day, another activity was planned for the following day in accordance with the upcoming celebration for Richard Black's birthday. It is an open hunt for everyone, which means anyone who is willing to join the hunt can join.

The Quicksilver assassin stood slowly but continued to stare down at Casper’s bloody lump of a body. The commotion was noticed by Azreal and as the Alpha began making his way toward Jay, he caught sight of the carnage beneath his assassin and began to pick up speed. Juaqin’s POV I am in an abandoned classroom in Emmanuel High School. I just escaped from prison. I am sitting on the broken teacher’s table while holding a Mini Uzi. Right now, I will do what appears to be unthinkable. I must kill students, teachers, and staff of Emmanuel High School. They should also be miserable, just like me.
