The moment her words fell, three ghost-like dark silhouettes materialized behind Eranthe’s only escape route. They wore black long coats. Their pale, paper-white faces had pairs of eyes glowing a blood-red crimson, twisted with thirst. Sharp fangs bared at the corners of their mouths reflected a chilling gleam under the night. Vampire assassins. For a brief moment, Eranthe’s mind went blank due to extreme fear. In that frozen instant, she realized—Zora wasn’t engaging in petty jealousy. This insane woman was hiring assassins to kill her. “Tear her apart,” Zora screamed hysterically.

It was the most beautiful, horrifying thing I’d ever seen. And God help me, I wanted to touch them. “You’re… you’re a vampire,” I whispered, my hand reaching out before I could stop myself. My fingers brushed his chin, my thumb ghosting over the edge of one sharp tooth. Marcus didn’t move. He let me touch him, his breath coming in hot, heavy drags. “I’m an assassin, Noah. I was raised to be a weapon. I’ve killed more people than you’ve had board meetings. And right now, every instinct I have is telling me to run before I ruin you.”

The background sound from the TV filled the empty space and made her feel less fidgety. Ping. A message dropped, Alina was being transferred to Mexico for her pending detective case. “It can't be a coincidence.” she thought. This was her life now. Alina the Assassin. Life in the underground was hell when she first joined seven years ago. Trainings were even more brutal. But the one thing that fueled her was the burning thirst for revenge, to do that she had to survive and the only way for her to survive was to join the crime family.

Third Person POV “Time for some fun guys,” Seris and Damon giggled through the mindlink. “Show him what you got guys !” Kael chuckled too. The “package” suddenly had six legs and was crawling up and down the man’s back. Needless to say the “package” was actually a spider-bot made up of silver which burnt the skin of any vampire or werewolf. The deadliest assassin in history was reeling under its effect which made everyone try hard to suppress their giggles and before he crumpled dead on the floor, he managed to wiggle out the bot out of his clothes and looked even deadlier with red bloodshot eyes.

In one clean motion, I shot forward and grabbed the ruby-eyed vampire by the collar, dragging him back into the woods with a burst of speed so sharp, even he didn’t react until his back hit a tree hard enough to crack the trunk. I needed answers—and this one reeked of them. The vampire snarled, baring elongated fangs, but didn’t strike. Not yet. “It is you!” he rasped, voice full of something between awe and hatred. “Laura Lavigne! Alpha Lucas’ daughter! The assassin of the Solmere Pack! The one who ended their bloodline alone!” I blinked, heart thudding once in rage. “Who the hell are you?! What are you talking about?!” I snarled inwardly, though my voice stayed steady. “I’m not her.”

But she hasn’t been drained—her neck’s been snapped. This isn’t a feeding assault on a remote farmhouse—it’s an assassination. From upstairs, Jenny rains throwing stars into the lunging, insectile vampires, but she’s limited by their proximity to Sylvia. Swinging my urumi in rapid circles, I cut into the outer layers of bloodsuckers, but as fast as the thin steel blades flay out pieces of undead flesh leaving dark magic flames to consume them, new vampires are porting in, all of them hellbent on getting to Sylvia.

(Sasu) Hearing their master shouted his order, whilst in pain, all 26 of the Spider Assassin’s jumps into action. At the same time, Aeternum Side also started to move into action, the first one to fall is the assassin that brave enough or so foolish enough to jump before, Sasu, and he accept the assassin rather stupid attempts with a shot straight at the Assassin forehead killing him instantly. He found the first body in the thick brush not ten yards from the back of the bar. Jacob shimmered into solid form, pressing a hand to the dripping claw marks marring his side, not wanting to leave any evidence of his presence. Though there was no sign of a struggle, the assassin's neck was broken. He found the second body a few yards ahead, tucked in an alley. It was sprawled against the wall, half in and half out of a puddle of oil. There was a hole in the man's chest the size of a fist where the heart should have been. He stiffened and glanced carefully around him. The assassin had been killed in a manner consistent with a ritual slaying of the undead. Not the human version, using stakes

“You probably want to know what happened, huh?” I nod my head. For a moment, I don’t think he’s going to respond, then he takes another breath and explains. “Well, from what we were able to gather, Kazik sent in one of his men to kill us. He shot me in the shoulder, but it was just a graze. Unfortunately, the bastard killed my assistant Sam, and my Assassin, Drex. Obviously, it was an ambush because he did some damage.” I swallow hard, trying to lubricate my throat before I croak out. “What happened to me? How long have I been here?”

I said as I gently picked up the knife that had fallen beside me. Before becoming a professional assassin, you must attend several training sessions in order to master all of the techniques that an assassin must know and study, and one of those techniques is that when one area of your body is vulnerable, you must think of another strategy to strike your opponent.
