The Assassin's Mate

The Assassin's Mate

“You five have been selected for an elite training program, previously only known to the assassins of Cerathe. This morning’s training with start with a game of hide and seek.” The men chuckled at the announcement. Victoria for her part remained stoic, waiting for further instruction. “This may sound like child’s play gentlemen, but I assure you it is anything but. There are wolves hidden somewhere in the woods off to our side, in a moment I will join them. Your job is to locate every wolf before they simulate your death. Do you understand?”

OWNED BY THE MAFIA BOSS

OWNED BY THE MAFIA BOSS

He taught me how to attack without second-guessing, how to disappear in plain sight, how to stay quiet and deadly. He showed me where to cut to cause the most pain, how to look innocent while planning something lethal, how to become the kind of person who didn’t hesitate. I had been trained as an assassin before, but this was different, Petro had trained me as a weapon to use, but Antonio is now training me to protect myself and fight for my family. Kindness had no place in this world, he was shaping me into someone tougher, smarter, and more dangerous. Then one night, he gave me a task.

THE PILOT'S EX WIFE

THE PILOT'S EX WIFE

They walked side by side to the end of the hallway, in religious silence as each of them thought of their own theories. - "This is our training area," Spencer explained as he opened the door. - "I never thought I'd meet one." The room revealed was a large room. The training area consisted of a soundproof room. All actions performed by agents could and should be trained there; hand-to-hand combat, target shooting, weapon handling, among others. - "I didn't intend for you to know, but things can get more violent. And if that's the case, you need to be prepared."

Sarah Killian The Mullets of Madness

Sarah Killian The Mullets of Madness

, and then turn my back to him so Mary Sue and I can continue our conversation as he leaves. The next few seconds pass in a blur of confusion. Mary Sue’s eyes open wide as saucers, she yells, “Sarah, duck!” (The fact she slipped and used my real name somehow triggers my natural reflexes to follow her order without question). Next thing I know, a knife is flying out of Mary Sue’s hand and over my quickly ducking head—if she weren’t a T.H.E.M. operative, I might wonder where the knife came from, but one of the things T.H.E.M. trains all of its operatives to do, especially assassins, is how to cleverly conceal weapons for quick and easy retrieval. I hear a wet, squishy thunk behind me, and spin

The Capo's Devotion: Own by the Don

The Capo's Devotion: Own by the Don

Lucien had recognized in those eyes a useful quality: a detachment that could be trained, then weaponized. Lucien did not lie when he said Lucien “invested.” The mansion had cost money, but the key purchases were intangible: time, insistence, rituals. He taught the boy the code of silence, the language of assassination; he taught him to move like a breath in velvet so that no one noticed until the heart stopped beating. He taught him how to wear silk without making a sound when he left the room. He taught him how to make fear feel inevitable.

The Clandestine Saga

The Clandestine Saga

Cassidy carefully set the Glock she’d been using back into the rack where the practice weapons were kept. The cartridges they used in the simulator didn’t actually contain the silver bullets or silver liquid they used outside of the facility, but she was always careful to put them away properly as well. Once, early on, she’d seen another trainee casually toss one into the bin and thought Shane was going to lose his mind. Since he was already in a foul mood, she didn’t want to tempt him, although she was pretty certain he wouldn’t mess with her unless he wanted to stir things up with a whole lot of people more powerful than he was.

The Chained Luna

The Chained Luna

“I threw it before any of you noticed.” He crossed his arms. “That is how assassins fight.” He pointed toward the forest. “They don't challenge you.” “They don't roar.” They don't announce their presence.” “They watch.” “They wait.” “And when you finally relax...” His voice grew lower. “...they kill you.” The entire training field fell silent. Even the wind seemed to stop. Orion looked directly at Damian. “If Ilyas wants to kill Ariana...” “...the walls won't stop her.” Those words made my stomach tighten

Seth (Book 4)

Seth (Book 4)

"Kendall tells me that there are classes for seduction and making a person arouse 101." I start to laugh, and I almost spill my drink. "First of all," I put my glass down and wiped my mouth. "It's mandatory to learn those things. It's part of being an assassin. You have to seduce anyone to get their weakness, and two, we don't have sex with them. We coy a little, and then we erase them." Seth starts to vent his anger on his eggs like a child. "I don't want my girl with other men or women. I don't want you to massage their penises or vaginas or peginas other than mine. You got it!" He proclaims firmly.

Master Blair's Fiery Pursuit

Master Blair's Fiery Pursuit

“Back then, you had the opportunity to take Secret, but you didn’t cherish it. Do you regret it now?” Blair put the pendant around Mable’s neck. “I do regret it a bit, but not for not getting Secret. I regret not cherishing you well enough.” Mable’s lips curled up, and she reopened the photo sent by Solomon. “This brooch is the identification mark of A-level subordinates of Secret. Thus, this assassin must be from Secret. There’s no way Solomon can make him talk!” An A-level assassin meant passing the most rigorous training. Their willpower was far beyond that of an ordinary person. Even if a truth serum was used, it was impossible to force him to talk.

I was reading this story on HeyNovel but it was called Mr. Goodwin, Your Ex-wife is a stunner and have different character names. The story is good but stopped updating at chapter 300. Excited that I found it here and looking forward to continuing the story.

I absolutely LOVE this story! I wish I could give it more than 5 stars! I have been unable to put my phone down since I started reading it. I do have one complaint, though...I wish the author would do some proof reading before posting the chapters onto this app because there are quite a few typos

NO ONE ASKED

NO ONE ASKED

In addition, the FSB had training camps that would insist that all-female assassins followed specific protocols. Adept at unarmed combat, firearms, knives, and so good in bed at sex that their target would think that Christmas had come early. I checked the date of the function—the Spring bank holiday Monday. I had a month to prepare. Plan this all down to the last detail. I had to out-think the best and most prolific trained killer that Russia had ever produced.
