The sniper coughed blood painfully like talking for so long was requiring too much of his remaining energy. "Her name was. . it was. . Zara. Zara Auclair Lavigne."

The noise had been deafening. Metal against metal, flesh against flesh, shield against shield. And over it all, the battle cries of warriors lost to bloodlust and determination to kill or be killed. Brand had forgotten what it felt like – the all-consuming need for the blood of his enemies to be spilled on the ground at his feet.

A second followed, and then a crack of splintering wood. The heir drew her sword, planting her boots at the top of the short entry stairs. “They want a fight in the halls? Let them choke on it.” The doors burst inward. The first wave came in low and fast—mercenaries with short axes and round shields, screaming in a language Eolan didn’t know. Behind them, the assassins of the Obsidian Creed moved like shadows within shadows, slipping between the defenders with blades drawn for the kill. Eolan’s shadow lashed out, tripping one mercenary and dragging another into the air before smashing him against a pillar. The heir cut two down in a single sweeping arc, her blade ringing against an assassin’

“A life where you will always have eyes on your back.” She held out her hand and looked at the first scar she had gotten when the team she belonged to were deployed to the frontlines. Alex remembered that her father had tried stopping from her of going but was not successful. The scar was from a knife that one of the infidels had slashed at her when they were capturing the group. She closed her eyes and shuddered as she remembered that was also her first kill using that weapon. She had not slept for days because she could not get it out of her mind. As her deployment continued, it came to the point that she already got used to seeing blood and retaliating back at those trying to kill them. S

I stated humorlessly as I threw my leg across my knee and folded my arms the best that I could, showing him that he didn't really scare me all that much. "You know, sixty-five of those men had mates and thirty of them had pups. I find it hard to believe that you don't care about that." Jayson smiled. Damn. Give the man a medal. He actually managed to smile, though it disappeared as quickly as it had appeared. "I'm a rogue. I will kill without thought. I don't have the time to care and I certainly don't have the time to pretend I actually have a heart." I shrugged carelessly. His red hair was in a single braid with a spear's head attached to it at the tip. His lower body had slightly loose black harem pants with a beaded belt. His hands had nothing but two wooden daggers. Not only was Kayne very expensive to buy, but he was also one of the top 5 hardest game characters to master.

Ellaine pushed the corpse away to try and get her gun back but Keisha would not allow it. "By now you probably know I'm an assassin, don't you?" Keisha asked while she was running out of breath. She kicked Ellaine in the face again, slamming her head against the front of the car. "A terrible one," Ellaine answered before grabbing Keisha's foot.

He felt its considerable heft in his hands, yet it simply didn’t feel right in his grip. “This is a bit much.” He went back to the screen and tapped on a few buttons and filtered out everything but the smart and nimble classes.
