Kaelira’s POV Nobody spoke for several seconds after I read the message aloud. The training grounds suddenly felt quieter than before despite the sound of weapons still clashing in the distance. Even the younger warriors nearby had stopped pretending not to listen. Cassian took the scroll from my hand again, reading the final line more carefully beneath the torchlight. “‘Ironfang’s rising wolf,’” he muttered. “Subtle.” Serenya folded her arms immediately. “I already hate whoever wrote this.”
