Athena’s POV “So why Athena and Zeus?” Terry asks as we eat ice cream walking around downtown Seattle. “My parents have a thing about Greek Mythology. I mean, they are named Hades and Persephone. I guess naming me after the goddess of war and my twin after the king of the gods was their way of reminding everyone and us just who we are,” I lean into him, and he actually puts an arm around my shoulders. “And who is that exactly?” He teases, whispering in my ear.

There was a time in our history when all the gods had relations with humans and Ares was no different than the rest of us. My eyes probably looked like they just popped out of my head and onto the floor with my jaw. ‘So…he’s Ares son? As in…the god of war? That god?’ I looked at Selene. She smiled and patted my hands in her lap, ‘He is my child. And one of your mates.’ ‘So…the son of the god of war and the daughter of the moon goddess are mates. So, why did you make me have two mates? And why is one so amazing while Callen is so…angry and serious?’

The girl in the passport looked nothing like me, her blonde hair made her look like her make-up, she wore so much make up it looked like it added a few kilograms to her face, and her eyes were drooped halfway like she was more than a bit high. Just as he was about to take a sip, Hela appeared behind Ares with her hands on her hips. "Big broooooo!!!! Is Big Bro taking Grey out for drinks again?!" ** Grey entered the Zeus—Corp building. The name Zeus was a joke created by Ares based on his and Hela's characters. According to Ares, he was the god of war, and Hela was the mother of the gods, so it was fitting for his company to have the name of the king of gods.

Fennel shrugged and said to the charming Goddess Athena, “Athena, you’re still the same too, always so bold.” Athena smiled, and the entire conference seemed to be filled with light. She said, “I just like your frankness, lovely Eastern man.” Fennel raised his eyebrows and turned to Ares, the War God. He said, “Ares, it's been a long time. You look stronger again.” Ares propped his chin on his hands and said with fighting intent in his eyes, “Apollo, I accepted your invitation simply because I want to fight you again.”

He’s still mumbling while listening to his mate. Athena hangs the phone up looking at her confused mate. “It’s a long story. Keep an open mind.” She sits beside him and takes his hand “I love you.” Then she tells him about Lucius rising from hell, the Phobos, and the war. Athena looks at him concerned. “Okay, I’m with you so far.” Shaf nods, "I think." “I’m Athena the Goddess of War and Wisdom. Yes, I'm your true mate,” she tightens her hold on his hand.

Soon the narrow path ended and it looked like they were in the middle of nowhere. "What is this place" her dad said as the looked around . "I'm confused also" she replied looking at the vast empty space. "Well well well" The almighty one said with a small clap as he walked to stand behind them. Shocked , they turned to face him immediately. "Look who we have here!" He said with a smirk. "If it isn't the Elected one" He added , Athena's brow creased as she stared at him. Athena's POV "If it isn't the Elected one!" The weird guy in front of us said and my brows creased in confusion .

After I'm dressed I follow the Empress the Imperial princesses and my mother out of room the followed by my four ladies in waiting, Lady Marina Filimena a descendant of Aphrodite, Lady Venus Hermia a descendant of Hermes, Lady Akino Solana a descendant of Apollo and Lady Caroline Solana Akino's twin sister they are also doubling as my bridesmaids while the two Imperial Princesses are my flower girls Behind my ladies in waiting are my imperial guards, Lady Myla Smati and Lady Melia Veta, descendants of Athena, Lord Clovis Ludwig and Lord Evander Murdock, descendants of Ares, Lady Vendetta Shivani, a descendant of Hades, and Lady Thea Rose, a daughter of Gaia, which is very rare Gaia is the Go

I just sighed and listened to him. “Did I tell you that you should stay in the car? Is it difficult to understand, Zenaida?” He's really mad. Ares didn't call me by my real name. He used to call me Athena and that helped me realize that he's not happy with my help. However, I understand his side but Ares understands me as well. “Yeah, I know you said that to me, Ares, but you can't stop me. I just wanted to help you, especially when I saw with my own eyes how the enemies attacked you. I thought you were facing a hard time killing all of them.”
