The sun was barely up when Evelyn received a message on her burner phone—a number that only a few trusted people knew. The text was brief and to the point: *Meet me at the old cathedral. Midnight. “Please tell me mine’s going to be as badass.” Ben snorted from the corner. “Yours is literally the Goddess of Strategic Warfare and Wisdom.” “I know,” Chelsea said proudly, grinning. And then her gaze sharpened, and Athena emerged. “I am the Guardian of Knowledge, Keeper of the Arcane Threads,” she intoned. “To these children I offer foresight—not only to see beyond what is, but to trust what can be. I notice that she has a few freckles on both of her cheeks but other than that, she has a perfectly clear skin. ''Nice meeting you, Adelaide.''
