Atlas Six Characters Novels & Stories

Frederick’s green eyes brighten as he stares through the wall of people. “What does that mean? You are not even old enough to know me.” “You’re right, forget what I said.” I see the smirk on Atlas’s face, he was up to something “I haven’t got time for your games you stupid Lycan. Now hand her over.” “My mate isn’t a piece of meat.” “Hand her over, or you will feel my full force.” Atlas let’s go, stepping forwards between the people. They part to let him through and immediately join back together, creating a barrier in front of me.

Six days left until the Mating Ceremony. I struggled to my feet and began the long crawl back to my rental. Every step made the collar burn deeper. But I couldn't fall. I had to get my father out. I had to survive. #

Not yet. Behind me, I hear footsteps, soft, slow. Sofia. Then Thalia. Then Cole. Even Shaun, grumbling under his breath, follows. And Atlas… he waits the longest, but I hear him too. I stop just before the halfway point. Close enough that I can see the glint of their eyes. The set of their shoulders. The tension in their stances. There are six of them. Maybe more in the shadows, but six that I can see. One steps forward.

He snickered openly at my scowl. "There are limited options, the former king was a big flaming peacock," I barked. Rubbing his chin, Atlas waved his hand over my front and mumbled a few strange words. He had changed the color and fabric of both the shirt and pants. Glancing down I grinned at the dark gray pinstripe dress pants and cufflinks on my tailored shirt. I stumbled a bit due to my overuse of hellfire. The overuse of my hellfire was catching up with me finally. Atlas offered me his wrist and I sank my fangs into his wrist to renew my strength.

"Special Agent and Detective Nora Stevenson. Everyone calls Agent 64." A ripple of shock passed through the room. The name Agent 64 carried weight. Every single man in this room had probably heard it at some point, had probably cursed it under their breath. The DiFronzo brothers exchanged looks of pure disbelief. I had been their ghost, the agent who had hounded them for years, always just out of reach. They knew my alias, but they had never known my face. "You are a cop?" Dant was the first to speak. I met his gaze, saying nothing.

There was a dragon tattooed down his whole back. Looked so lifelike. I was half expecting it to start moving. My eyes trailed further down to his lower back, where the letters S.I.X were inscribed. So wait six isn't actually a number, but an acronym? He turned slightly, enough for me to get a view of his front, but not for him to see me standing there.

We had stepped through a portal into another world. “Ju… what is this place?” Samy’s grip threatened to crush my fingers. I shook my head. I had no words. Then he appeared. Tall, dark blazer over a black shirt with a few buttons undone, hair tied in a low bun. Brown eyes so intense I forgot how to blink. He carried himself like the room had been waiting for him to arrive. “Samantha Jones and Juliet Pierce?” We nodded in perfect sync. “I’m Atlas. Welcome to Paradise.” His mouth curved into the faintest smile, but his eyes stayed cold.

And then the worst part—Kael and Lisa hugging, ganging up against me like I was the villain in some silly story. I rubbed my temples and groaned. “Unbelievable.” “You’re still brooding?” I lifted my head slowly to see Atlas leaning against the doorway, arms crossed, amusement practically dripping off him. He had that look—like a cat who had cornered a mouse and was enjoying the helpless squeaks. “I’m not brooding,” I muttered. “Oh, yes you are,” Atlas said, strolling inside like he owned the place. “That little wrinkle between your eyebrows? That’s the ‘Enzo just got humiliated’ wrinkle.”

Varz slashes them up with both of his swords. “Alfi! You said that you wouldn’t die, right? Neither will us! We won’t die here!” Kartika smacks them alongside Cakra. “You guys...” Alfi said. “You’ve got a bunch of good friends, Alfi,” Koji said. “Don’t worry, we’ll assist you,” Rian added. “You guys...” Alfi said. “FYI, he is one of the Fatal 6,” Rian said. “Fatal 6?” Alfi and Koji wonder.

But do not blame me, it feels like I am in the middle of a dream that I had never imagined would come true. Atlas held me up and sat down putting me on his laps as his eyes dug directly in to mine. “Why does this seem so unreal to you? Is it because of how weird I am?” He asked me. “What? You’re not weird!” I protested. He scoffed and rolled his eyes. I have never seen him doing that before. “Yes I am!” “No, you’re not.” I insisted. Atlas sighed. “I am weird and you know it. I act like a ghost. No emotions, no expressions, I am weird.” He said.
