I’m pretty sure I’m a second away from being a vegetable, and I’m not even mad about it. I flutter my lids until they open, and my vision isn’t so hazy. He’s looking at me, but the black eyes are gone now. They are replaced with those same light brown eyes that I’ve come to admire. Unlike his brother, Atlas has a strength in his eyes, and they aren’t as dark as Ares. He has the same nose, eyebrows, and thick lips. Atlas doesn’t have any piercings, though. His gaze is so intense, it feels like it cuts through all of your layers to get to the heart of you. I feel like I’m being seen down to my atoms, and that’s a bit unnerving.

But he didn’t know that by sending her out, she will come running to me. But of course, Sin isn’t stupid enough to send her out alone. My eyes move from the woman to the three young men running behind her. One, I recognize. And his name is Atlas. Dark skin, and curly short hair, cropped on his head. He used to be a part of the Vampire Kingdom, but he managed to escape to work for Sin. And that is mainly because Sin promised him freedom to feed on whomever he wanted. Sin knew how powerful Atlas was, even though the kid looked like a loser with his lean physique and playful personality. He needed Atlas by his side to make his Kingdom stronger, so he sacrificed humans for Atlas to feed on.

He snapped back. “Who's starving?” Atlas walked in, my eyes trailed over his body and my jaw dropped opened, he was sweaty and shirtless too, the jeans he wore sat low on his hips and he was without shoes. “You’re staring Lai.” Atlas said brushing his dump hair backwards. I cleared my throat and closed my mouth as embarrassment washed over me. “Who's starving?” Atlas asked again turning to his brother with his brow slightly raised. “She is, if she continues being stubborn.” Ares said bringing me back to reality.

Their porcelain skin and their behaviors are enough for me to say that. They are kind and they help us look after our children if Sam and I have some errands to do. Atlas is 3 years old while Eve is only 1o months old. Shia and Gege became my friends as well. I was with Samantha sweeping outside while Eve was in the crib and sleeping and then Atlas was playing his ball. Atlas is so handsome. Not surprising because Samantha is gorgeous but Atlas looks is little different from Samantha. Atlas may have inherited his looks from his dad.

Atlas emerged from behind Sienna, twice the size of her wolf. His eyes burned an eerie, glowing white, void of emotions. Long brown locks drifted weightlessly around his head. Azriel and Sean stared at him, confused and stunned. Zen's cool countenance twisted into something ugly. "Finally, you got the balls to show up, Atlas," he gritted out, hostility radiating from his tone. "Think of me as your bad luck, Zen," Atlas said, his gravel-rough voice low and heavy. "It's only going to get uglier for you."

Once I officially changed my name from Yasmin Adelson to Yasmine Elisse, I booked a ticket home. Chuck showed up one last time, blocking my path. "After six years, you're really just walking away?" I stopped. My voice was low. "You were the mastermind, Chuck Benetton." Forgive you? Not a chance. I said nothing else. And in that silence, he finally let go. I rushed to my mom, linking arms with a grin. Life's full of wins and losses. But because I know how hard it was to get here—I hold on even tighter.

He didn't look away; he just tracked me with a look that was intense and hungry. I’m so sorry. The thought that he saw me as a challenge made my pride flare, even as Selah retreated. My lips pulled into a tiny smirk. 'Not mine,' she muttered. "I know a lot of things," Atlas said. His voice was steady, his jaw set. The challenge in his voice made me narrow my eyes. I pointed a finger at the stone fountain. "Fine, genius. Explain that, then." "It’s a wolf," he said simply. "With snakes on its legs."

Atlas reminded her. "Mm …" Atlas , good night. " Lauren said and Hung up the call. she was lying on the bed, dispirited....Although she had never been in love with him before, but her loss was real! Daphne and Lauren felt that Atlas was suitable for her. How gentle and understanding? It was not like Dominic , is not a gentleman.. he is but he is scary person whom no one try to offend.. he is Powerful to the point of inviolability....And the behavior was violent.

"Giuseppe Romano. Mid-fifties. No family. Feeds intel to the Yakuza. Dies second. During appetizers." Atlas didn't stop. Kept working. Kept grounding. Kept giving her this. This anchor. This choice. This moment of being hers even while being Dante's weapon. She studied. Planned. Memorized. All twelve targets. All twelve executions. While Atlas serviced her. While she came twice more. While she reclaimed her body even as she planned to destroy others. When she finished the last file, she was breathing hard. Grounded. Present. Functional. But not done.
