I was stunned into inaction as my eyes caught the look on his face. Atlas, with his pair of piercing blue eyes, stared at me. "So, which one is your friend? This tree or that grass?" Atlas looked at me sharply and coldly. He gave off a sinister aura from within himself. His face, which helped make him look good, also helped when he tried to look scary.

"She's my mate. And why the hell is she calling you Atlas?" So he gave me a wrong name? But that meant Sofia knew he'd given me a wrong name because she introduced us. Atlas, or whoever he was—didn't flinch at the threat. He looked at Cyrus with a cold, simmering intensity that made the air turn brittle. "She is my mate too," he revealed. The world seemed to stop spinning. The cheering of the fairies died into a suffocating silence. "What?" I gasped, the word barely a puff of air. I looked from Cyrus's rugged, red-haired fury to Atlas's dark, commanding beauty. My head was spinning. Two brothers? Two kings?

He didn't look away; he just tracked me with a look that was intense and hungry. I’m so sorry. The thought that he saw me as a challenge made my pride flare, even as Selah retreated. My lips pulled into a tiny smirk. 'Not mine,' she muttered. "I know a lot of things," Atlas said. His voice was steady, his jaw set. The challenge in his voice made me narrow my eyes. I pointed a finger at the stone fountain. "Fine, genius. Explain that, then." "It’s a wolf," he said simply. "With snakes on its legs."

All of my defense immediately collapsed. I let Atlas do everything. How he took my wet clothes off, how he stripped in front of me, and how he gently carried me up. I watched him as he walked. From his prominent jawline, his aristocratic nose, his bushy eyebrows, and to his black eyes that always brings me to another dimension. I have a lot of uncertainties but I know that I'm not a rock. I like what Atlas was doing because it's different from what he always did. I want it because I felt like I had a space for his heart.

I was about to start getting up and back to the bed when Ryker pushed me back on my knees, his eyes dark with lust, obsession and a hint of possessiveness. “You’re not done yet,” his voice was ladened by his lust and excitement, “you still have a long fucking way to go, whore.” He finished. I didn’t know what else to think but I felt a sixth sense tell me that I could handle it. The other three brothers were grinning as the one that had introduced himself as Atlas started making his way towards me. I could recognize him because he had the sweetest facial expression, my heart pounded really hard in my chest with excitement and fear.

She would always be mine—not his. My eyes drifted to Six, sitting across from us. He had a drink in hand. Bianca was beside him, whispering something in his ear, but he didn’t respond. His eyes kept flicking toward Arabella, even though her head was bowed. I leaned toward one of the girls and nodded at Six. “My boy is bored. Keep him busy.” Two pretty girls walked up to him. They sat on either side, displacing Bianca. They started giggling, filling his glass, touching his arm. He didn’t push them off—but he didn’t look at them either.

Sam’s eyes widened. “You didn’t think we were the last children Atlas was stealing, did you?” “So the operation’s still on?” “I don’t think so. The IMC found out about Atlas’ little schemes, and they put him down. Turns out he wasn’t the only one stealing children,” “Atlas is dead?” Sam couldn’t believe those words. “Oh no, he’s not dead. Just…maybe under the radar, scheming,” Aaron shrugged. “It’s only a matter of time before he collects his children to take down the IMC so he can be King or some shit-“

That was when she realized Atlas had already fallen into a slumber as soft snores escaped his nostrils. Retracting from him, Alexa smiled as she gazed at him, her heart melting with awe. Atlas was the cutest toddler she'd ever seen if she were to be very honest. The way he bore a striking resemblance to not just her but also to Jordan fascinated her about him. He literally reminded her of Jordan (although Atlas's resemblance couldn't be compared with that of Blair's).

Vivienne will become a better Luna with me by her side. Among my crazy and disturbed pack mates I could see one sticking out. I recognized him as Atlas. Atlas, one of my strongest pack mates was running with Eli when he seemed to trip. His body falling back as he tumbled to the ground. His wolf howling. I suddenly watched as it looked like an eternal fight was going on inside him. Until he forced a transformation. He suddenly face planted the ground butt- ass naked and in human form. Atlas had fought hard to change back. His wolf telling him he was wrong. His thoughts screaming. He was worried for Vivienne. His emotions hitting me like hard rocks.

Weren't there Disney movies about things like this, where the evil CEOs cackled and took over entire cities for gentrification? ....Wait, no, she had forgotten that she wasn't as furious at Atlas anymore, after he had told her in the car that he'd simply done all that for spontaneous rather than premeditated, evil reasons. Damn. He was so confusing, always back and forth between cold and vaguely lukewarm and then cold again.
