Rhyan gently touched Aubrey's cheek. "I'm fine." She looked away. "Mommy!" A child shouted running towards Aubrey's direction. "Ethan, my baby... Mom missed you so much!" She said hugging the child lovingly. Aubrey had twins, a girl and a boy, Ethan, and Amber. But she can't always be with Ethan since Rhyan's parents always get him to stay with them. His parents aren't really fond of girls so Amber was always left out, but of course, Aubrey made sure her daughter wouldn't feel less.

Today, he was an annoying flirt. Abigail in particular I had never seen in a ballet lesson till today, she stands all untrimmed and annoying next to James trying to impress him. Aubrey tied her long hair into a messy bun, applied a light makeup and careless lip bum. Aubrey took her purse and walked out of her bedroom.

The girl froze in place. Her face was pale with freckles sprinkled over her nose and cheeks. Her eyes were a bright aqua blue, shades lighter than Noah's, and she was very thin for her height. When she turned to Noah, Raven's gaze lowered to her neck, where red, twisted scars ran from her ear down until disappearing under the nightgown. Her hand had the same scarring, indicating it covered the whole arm.

Aubrey strolls over to the bed, handing me one of the mugs before she climbs onto the bed next to me, smiling. “Are you rough?” she asks, taking a sip of her coffee. “No, I am okay. I am sorry if I did or said anything stupid or confusing last night.” “Nope, all good.” Aubrey is a terrible liar. Anytime she lies, her nose wriggles, and a little crease appears on her forehead between her eyes. She clearly doesn’t want to talk about it either. I nod, drinking my coffee, not knowing what to say next. “Do you want to go for breakfast? I am hungry and haven’t been to the grocery store. Or do you have other plans?”

she calls out, her voice carrying across the room and drawing the attention of nearby guests. “Mom, please don’t embarrass me,” Aubrey groans. I immediately spot a man approaching, billionairess Victor Raven. I’ve seen him countless times on TV and on newspapers. He approaches with an unreadable expression. “Hello, Dad,” Aubrey greets him with a curt nod. “Aubrey,” he replies coolly, his tone just as formal. "Meet my supermodel boyfriend, Abel Blackwood," Aubrey says with a proud a smile. What the hell? no I'm not. Why did she show up with me instead of Jonathan? Isn't he her rich boyfriend?
