Zayn roared as he lunged, but the other twin, Jessica, blurred into motion, her nails elongating into black talons that whistled through the air, forcing Zayn back. "Stay focused, Alpha," Dracula mocked, his crimson eyes locked on mine. "You worry for her? You are too late. This room is full of thieves who have tasted what belongs to me." He tilted my head back, exposing my neck to the flickering candlelight. I saw Hailey watching us from the doorway, a sick, playful smile on her lips as she smoothed her blue dress. That bitch wasn't horrified by the blood instead she was turned on by the chaos.

The air felt charged with tension and horror, as if the entire forest was waiting for something dreadful to happen. Then the voices came. They did not come from one person. They did not come from seven separate figures either. They rose together, layered upon one another until they sounded like a single voice multiplied a hundred times over. The sound was deep, powerful, echoing in every direction at once. Their words slipped into my ears and rattled me down to my bones. “Melucia Draxler of the Drax Coven, now wearing the body of Annabelle, daughter of the Whitefang Pack. Hear us.”

Adrian and Audrey went down for breakfast. "Good morning my dear." Lucia said with a smile "Morning mum." Audrey said "You still look pale dear." "I'll be fine mum, I'm just tired." Audrey answered "No I'm not buying that you're seeing a doctor. If it were Adrian who were pale I wouldn't worry too much cause he is a vampire." Lucia answered "I'm returning to school anyway." "Fine, do well to ask doctor Allen to examine you." Lucia said "I will." Audrey answered "Aurora about last night..." Damon said

“But Aaron was there, too. And he says he saw it. So you think he made it up?” “No,” Christian said, quickly. “Look, I’m a scientist, right? I need facts and data. All I know is that Aaron and some of the others that were there claimed that they saw Dracula shape shift—into a bat, a wolf, who knows what else—and that he could also become some sort of mist. Just a regular silver bullet wouldn’t take him out, and even when they got a stake in him the first time, it just weakened him. They used holy water and all kinds of stuff we don’t typically need or use. I never actually saw Dracula as I was in a different part of the castle while Van and her team got him. So… I don’t know. I just need mor

Doru remained on the balcony and looked mockingly at Bruce. “That toy is useless against me,” he sneered confidently. “These guards may have fallen prey to it because we are of a mutated lineage, but not me. I am Doru, the true and legitimate son of Dracula, Prince of Darkness. His blood runs pure through my veins and I cannot be destroyed.”

When the movements inside the castle begins to increase, I look at Drake. “How long until sunset?” I ask him. “Twenty minutes.” I stand and Riley comes to stand beside me. “Is it time?” Riley asks. “Nearly,” I say seeing ten auras race out of the castle. I blast them, hearing their screeches as they turn to dust. “If they didn’t know before, they do now,” Alpha Leonardo says behind us. We hear the ear-piercing screech of a vampire calling to his clan inside the castle, preparing for battle.

Evangeline’s heartbeat thrummed in her ears, every pulse a reminder that the hunt was not theirs alone. Xander led the charge, golden eyes glowing, aura rippling with controlled power. Behind him, Lucien flexed his claws, his body still marked by the venom but steady, controlled. Cassius and Marrow flanked the sides, blades sharp and gleaming, while Virex’s smirk flickered in the shadows, the Heart of Dracula circling lazily above his palm. Emma followed, her own magic crackling faintly, weaving wards and protective sigils around the group.

"I can feel your fear, smell your blood, and my body is screaming to take a big, huge bite." Elijah Orleans was overcome with uncontrollable fear that seemed to fill every part of his body. The woman standing before him had a face that turned dark as she stared at him. She pulled back a little, her chest rising, and her mouth opening in a way that he knew was not possible for a normal human being. Large fangs came out in the place of her normal teeth, and her face took on the shape of a ferocious animal. Veins popped out on her face, and her pure brown eyes turned a shade of black worse than anything he had ever seen before. She growled, emitting the most terrifying sound he had ever heard.

I said. Audrey's eyes narrowed, her gaze piercing through me. "Who is that?" She pointed at Aunt Belinda. Leo conceded. "Isn't that enough proof for you? Remember, time is of the essence." With that, Audrey signaled to her vampire henchmen to bring Aunt Belinda forward to our front. As they untied Aunt Belinda, my heart filled with relief. She seemed shaken and her face was battered but not too hurt, giving us a small glimpse of hope.

In her place stood a woman made of ice and steel. My hair was dyed a platinum blonde so pale it was almost white, cut in a sharp, asymmetrical bob that framed my jaw like a blade. I wore a tailored crimson suit that screamed money, and on my hands, my most valuable assets, I wore thin, white leather gloves. "Dr. Vale?" The soft voice of my assistant, Elena, broke the silence. I didn't turn around. "Is he ready?" "Yes, ma'am. Alpha Sterling is prepped in Suite One. He... he’s losing a lot of blood, Doctor. His beta is threatening to tear the lobby apart if you don't hurry."
