Michael opened the door, shoving Elika inside as he followed closely behind her. She stumbled again, crashing to her knees. She panted, slowly looking around the room her uncle’s comrade had forced her into. The room resembled the princesses father’s study, a large mahogany desk in the centre of the study. Floor-to-ceiling book shelves covered two walls in the room, a large window situated behind the vast desk. Darkous was sat at the desk, his eyes falling on her for only a second before shifting towards Michael.

I’m not about to play with this position.” In about 10 minutes, I arrived at Vans and Sterling Company — and boy, this place was flashy. From the security men dressed in all black uniforms who happily opened the doors for me, to the gleaming polished floors and sky- high walls, I instantly knew I hit the jackpot with this position. “Thank you, Jesus,” I whispered under my breath, fully aware that it was only through Him that I had gotten this spot.

Master Rowan had this castle built well over a century ago as a place to lay his head when he was in this country.
