A Pulse And Betrayal

A Pulse And Betrayal

Chapter 130 – Gathering Storm Chris POV The night was heavy. Dark clouds covered the moon, and no star could be seen in the sky. I stood near the wide window of my mansion, staring outside, my hands pressed against the cold glass. My reflection looked back at me, pale, angry, restless.

Chapter 77: Nothing I had never thought of. Jennifer's POV. Mrs Castle, the whining machine gave up, putting a pause and causing trouble for the entire household. A confession, that was sufficient to make me freeze and change my expression towards her. Of course it was going to be the whining simp to break first.

The Hidden Princess At All-Boys Alpha Academy

I hurry along with my brother and my cousin, staring around at the stone hallway that meets in gothic arches above our heads, at the windows scattered along the right-hand wall that look out over the landscape. I grin, because I thought I’d gotten used to the view from the barracks – but this high? I feel like I can see everything, and the wide grey landscape around the castle is desolate and gorgeous in its own way. My steps slow despite me as I wander over to one of the windows, which looks north – towards the palace, towards home, where mom and dad are –

Excellent storyline. Ending lacking completion. The last chapter was rushed skipped a year in the timeline. Very disappointing. Same with Julie's story. That said will the other stories be written, Rafe's, Jesse's $ Mark's?

I am really really enjoying this book! Initially, I wasn’t too keen on the double fated mates premise, but as I keep reading it all comes together. I love how exciting the story unfolds. All the characters, the smart funny banter, the friendships, character growth, and story development is awesome!

The Alphas Rejected Claim

The Alphas Rejected Claim

Chapter 3: Shackles and Shadows The morning of the festival dawned over the pack’s grand mansion, casting a soft light through the tall windows and illuminating the bustle of activity that had taken over every hall and corner. The walls, lined with ancient tapestries and relics of the pack’s history, seemed to amplify every sound—the quiet shuffling of maids, the heavy footsteps of warriors, and the hushed murmurs of pack members moving about in preparation for the evening’s events. Cassia moved through it all, her broom in hand, with an aching familiarity to her routine, her heart as heavy as the burden of her place among them.

The Villain's Hero

The Villain's Hero

He let me take him to the edge, before rolling me beneath him and making his own explorations of me with hands and tongue, so that when he rose back over me and joined us as his lips met mine, I ached for him, and gripped him greedily to me, rising into his thrusts until we fell apart together. We lay in the flickering firelight with his arm around me and my cheek on his chest. I could hear his heartbeat. His hand stroked up and down my arm. “Glass will be the difficult part,” he said. “I will take the broken windows out of the frame tomorrow and we will board them up. We will have to find a wagon to take them to the city for a glazier to work on them.” “Glass is just sand and heat, is it no

Reborn As The Villainess Luna In My Favorite Series

She didn't look back, and she didn't offer any magic solutions. I looked down at the dirty gray cloth sitting in the white dust of the rye. Above us, through the thick stone ceiling, the heavy thudding of the elders' boots continued, a steady, rhythmic vibration that felt like a machine slowly grinding this entire castle into dust. Outside, the winter wind began to whistle through the low grates, carrying the cold breath of the coming storm.

Healing with the monster

Chapter 172 is the fire that burns in the dark, steady, unyielding, and impossible to extinguish. Julian tightened the last bolt on the frame with a sharp, resonant CLICK. Yusuf heaved the oilcloth crate onto his shoulder to meet the morning couriers, and Ibrahim stood beside the table as the first light of day filtered through the frost-rimmed grate. The press creaked, the chalk marked the slate, and the fire spread onward into the fog. Where would you like to take Chapter 173 next?

Under the Hallow Veil (Editingle Halloween Anthology)

Head crashed onto the graves; her clothes covered in mud and adorned large holes of the misery she bore. The shrieks and wails had no effect as her body levitated from stone to stone until she was deeper in the opaque area. Red was disappearing from the sky and the moon rose in the middle, glaring at her with its reddened eyes. She lay at its feet hoping for mercy, but it had only surprises for her. Smoke arrested her in its trap until a gray castle born ahead of her. The Circle continued the blusterous acts against her by dragging her up the staircase. Cassy’s spine bled yet she didn’t groan in pain. They ceased right at the black wooden door.
