A week passed by in a blink of the eye, before I knew it I was sitting beside Auntie Kris getting pedicures and manicures at a salon in one town over. We barely made it to our appointment in time- the hairdresser took longer than expected. I had to practise in the morning and we got the rest of the day off so Auntie Kris and I got to spend more time together. ''How much does it cost to go to L.A for your trip?'' she asked

she said with a smile. The room we went to was like a special salon. I was scrubbed, facial and trimmed my hair a little. After two hours, I was taken to the previous room. Amelia sitting lazily while enjoying snacks provided. "Wow, Aunt Rani, you’re so beautiful. It’s fragrant!" Amel shouted while hugging me tightly. "Are you tired, honey? Sorry for the long wait." "I'm not tired. For the sake of being picked up by aunty," she said, clinging spoiled.

I tell him, frowning as I watch dust particles drift to the floor. My father walks out of his office, looking at my mother. “What’s in your hair?” He asks, scrunching up his nose. “Elf dust.” She tells him proudly. “So, I guess the threat has been nullified?” “Disintegrated.” Aunt Angel says as Uncle Liam comes to stand behind her with a similar look of disgust on his face as he looks her over. “You need a bath, love.” He tells her. “Want to wash my hair?” She asks him coyly. In an instant, she’s over his shoulder and he’s turned around heading back to their room as she giggles like a young girl.

Audrey was all set and ready to leave, she was just giving the finishing touches to her hair when her door pushed open and her aunt sauntered into the room with a smile on her face. “I can see you are all ready to leave?” She asked Bianca while lowering herself on the bed. “Yes aunt” she replied, “fashion week starts next week, I have to put the finishing touches to things” “Well” aunt Aurora shrugged, “your flight leaves in an hour, I was hoping you could spare me a few minutes. I want to discuss something with you, child”

I couldn't do anything but go with her even though I was wearing office clothes. "I-isn't Auntie included?" I asked when the car started moving. "No, she has her own parlor's team. They come to the house to fix her. You know our mom, she's kinda choosy." The whole day, we were really releaxing. Doing massage, footspa, nailspa, hotoil and etc. We did everything we needed to do and checked everything on our list. If I was just this rich before, my beauty would level up.

I carefully got out, adjusting my crutches as I followed her into the salon. It was elegantly decorated on the inside but still felt like a place you could relax for a few hours. A woman with black hair was leaning on the counter popping bubble gum. “Welcome to Bea’s Beauties… Oh, Artemis. Hey girl. We didn’t expect you today. You’re not on the books till next month for that Frost event.” the girl smiled at Artemis.

With as much dignity as she could muster, Natalie hurried out of the building, praying she never had to visit the boutique again. She stopped at a beauty salon—another one of Aunty Viv's affiliates— for a quick mani and pedi. The head stylist spent an awfully long time trying to convince her to relax her hair. Natalie firmly refused. She'd change everything about herself if she had to. Just not her hair. But she agreed to a twenty-minute treatment 'to give her curls more volume'. As if they weren't already thick enough, Natalie thought crossly while she sat under the hairdryer and paged through a Vogue magazine.

Her sweet honey scent fills my nostrils and it's been a while. Her middle-length black hair sways with the wind and the lavender scent from it make me feel calm and at peace. She has this rounded small face, thin red lips, high cheekbones, and a deep set of golden-brown eyes. Kester's eyes come from her mother's genes. "How are you, my dear?" She asks me the moment our hug breaks. "I've been always fine, Aunt Aqua. By the way Aunt, are you taking good care of your health?" Last year, her health went down that she wasn't able to continue her previous job which is working at the office of Head Councils.

She walks majestically to the living room. "Aunt, how do I look? " she asked. Her aunt stares at her for a while. "Aunt, stop staring at me like that. How do I look? " she asked again. "You look so beautiful just like the princess that you are. Are you going on a date? " she teased her. "Yes, I am. I am going on a date with my aunt to the bakery" she said and they both laughs. "Shall we? " her aunt said. They both walked out together to board a cab.

I was lost for the right words to use but then I had to say something. In this place, I will be cleaned down there, my nails will be done, and a lot more. Only ladies who want their man to always crave for them come here. I have heard about the things they do here but I have never been here. I have to act along, “Yeah, I did make reservations at a place but I have forgotten about it.” I replied. “That’s great. You know their services here are top-notch.” Aunt Eli pushed me to a chair and immediately a staff of the place began to work.
