Authenticity Synonyms Novels & Stories

"A real genuine or authentic person is someone who could speak their mind with full honesty and integrity. They do not lie to themselves or others, cause authenticity stands for being true to yourself and being true to others. Thank you," I answered confidently. Damn, I hope it's enough to make Gabriela win this pageant! "I heard your answer.

“I think authenticity is…” Nagpakawala ako ng mahina na tawa. “Itong… g-ganito. I am standing in front of you all, obviously nervous and unsure of what to answer. But I’m still here smiling, kahit parang anytime matutumba na ako rito sa kaba.” Nagtawanan ang mga audience. “I believe that’s what authenticity is. Authenticity starts when you stop pretending… not for the world, but for yourself.”

“But I got used to having you around, Helga.” “Even with my panic attacks and dramatic exits?” pilit kong biro, pero masyadong mahina ang boses ko. “Especially with them.” “You brought… authenticity.”

“Honesty. Realness. Lahat sa mundo ko nagpapanggap. Pretends to like things they don’t. Pretends to understand things they don’t. Pretends to be things they’re not.” Napaiwas siya ng tingin. “Kung alam mo lang…” I tried to reassure her. “You’re not comfortable here, pero you’re trying. You’re honest about it. That takes more courage than pretending.” “Talaga ba. “Neither. It’s genuine. And genuine is hard to find in my world.” Ngumiti siya. Totoong ngiti. “Ang sweet mo din noh.”

sabi ko at tinapik ang kanyang binti. “Stay away from him. Anton is just like Jasmin, they are unpredictable. You will never know when they are sincere or when they are fake. Even if they look sincere, it’s still doubtful.” “The word sincerity is sometimes scary. With those standards that have been instilled with the people's mind, sometimes you don’t know if that sincerity came from their heart. It is sometimes being questioned if it is actually real because sometimes sincerity is just a tool to mask reality.”
