“So, Hunger is the name of that lizard.” The familiar voice that she dreaded to hear appeared at her side. The man was sporting his signature malicious grin with a sharp pair of eyes. His well-carved eyebrows were slightly raised as if he was mocking her. H-How? On reflex, Cent took a drastic step backward. The distress signal was being sent to her familiar and her Slaughter butterflies. A flock of flesh-eating butterflies gathered around her and Hunger let out a ground-shattering roar – its head turned towards her direction. But all of these did not stop Cent from tripping over, the fall was inevitable for her.

The landscape stretched out before us, vibrant and teeming with life, but also filled with hidden perils. Our team, consisting of Aret, Nova, Horia, and myself, Jannah, had trained for years to reach this point, but nothing could have prepared us for the reality of the Hunger Games. The very mention of its name sent shivers down our spines, and we knew that survival in this brutal contest would demand everything we had. Our surroundings were dense with towering trees and exotic flora, their vibrant colors contrasting with the shadowy undergrowth. The air was thick with the sounds of unknown creatures, their calls, and rustlings both fascinating and foreboding.
