It was not a typical hunger for sustenance but rather an insatiable longing for Ikaris and blood. The presence of Ikaris in close proximity only served to intensify my hunger. I couldn’t help the single tear that slid down my face, the distraction I so desperately craved had arrived. Sir Duggar was cussing and frantically running around the room attaching armor and weapons to his body.

Whatever punishment you had intended for her will be mine.” Elma held Helen and said, “Miss, don’t. You are pregnant. I did the deed. I should bear the punishment.” Nathan turned to Elma and said, “Fine. So be it. Go, kneel at the door, and stay there until this time tomorrow. I think that will teach you a lesson you’ll remember.”

He said, angry at the hunger that befriended Jennet at the moment. If hunger is a living human, Hue would have to punch it in the face and toss it into the void where it could never find its way home.
