Jessi's P.O.V. I look at the unbelievable sight in front of me and then at Wyatt. We both start laughing as we make our way into the room. Trevor and Rmina look at us with confusion as they follow us inside. "Why are you laughing?" Trevor asks. "Don't you get it? Do you see what this is?" I spin around. There are rogues, or at least they're supposed to look like rogues, in multiple stages of being constructed. Adrian apparently has been making rogue robots, which makes a lot of sense now with the trackers and how the other two burnt themselves. It's kind of scary how lifelike some of them seem. I see several that look like members of Dark Moon.

After that, a different kind of satisfaction came across me. I enjoyed hunting these human hunters, thus, killing 10 werewolves and being the youngest and best werewolf hunter. Rendall killed 8 werewolves which are also not that bad, Quinn is setting poisonous traps and putting some on the bows granting her 4 kills. We make a great team. “Let’s go, Raffi.” I turned and saw Rendall brushing his mid-length hair using his fingers. “Are you going on a date?” I asked him as I scanned his clothes.

"What is the status of the patrol-bots at point one?" Kevin hummed before replying, "Negative. No bots sighted at point one. The nearest bots are fifteen metres away." Nodding, I hid behind the wall. The bots need to pass before I made a dash for it. Past the main fountain was the foyer that had a large open space. Should I be caught by the bots, my odds of getting away are close to none. Unlike cameras, bots are equipped with heat sensors that I have yet to figure out how to fool.

There was a tiny explosion and the drone burnt up in flames. Sia heaved a sigh of relief and jumped to her feet. She looked at Yorick and Jay. The only thing that was left was to decide what to do with them. Sia tapped a few icons on the screen. A few moments later a team of Probots arrived on the screen. Yorick’s eyes widened in horror as he saw them. After all, he was the one who had designed them. They were designed to keep people as their prisoner. “You are not serious, are you?” He whispered.

The temperature of my blood increased, making the cold wind feel like nothing but a faint pressure. The Citadel probe force crested the dune. Three Light Recon Vehicles—armored buggies—flanked a medium assault tank. The machines hummed. The Barzil cores at their centers emitted a low, subsonic vibration that I felt in my teeth before I heard the engines. They moved with caution. Their sensors—mechanical eyes of glowing blue light—swept the ruins. They expected Rogues. They expected a disorganized mob. The lead buggy hit the trap.

“Mr Matt tracked the car that your brother took and we just learnt he's at the outskirts of the city. He is definitely with Mrs Rover, boss. I’m sure of it” He informed me and my grip tightened on my phone. “So what do you suggest we do then?” I asked him and he was quiet for a moment. “I think we should get there as fast as we can before it’s too late, boss. Your brother can do something reckless and I know you don’t want Mrs Rover to get harmed” he advised and I nodded, buying his idea because he made a lot of sense. Carlos was a very rash person. He’s hardly thought anything through before doing it. So it was best I got to Taylor as fast as I could before he would cause any damage.

The narrow corridor beyond the entry hall exhaled stale, untouched air. Stone walls loomed high and close, furred with the dust of decades. The floor, though choked in grit, bore faded symbols—half-erased footprints pressed by history and then forgotten. Lizzi crouched at the threshold and set Rover—a four-wheeled robotic scout—onto the ground. Matte casing, low center of gravity, a snub nose bristling with sensors. The Laylon scanner hummed to life, a cat’s purr caught in aluminum.
