The Fall

The Fall

There were only a couple of other kids that chose to read over the computers. I browsed the bookshelf searching for a book to read, my step-father set fire to all my books in the wheel barrow when he first moved in with us. I picked a book up from the shelf, my father had bought me it before he died, I was surprised to see it in a school library. The Darkest Minds. I found my way over to a comfy seat in the corner of the room. Fishing out my glasses from my bag I made sure no one was looking before I put them on. "Hey." A boy interupted me three chapters in. "I'm Aaron." Peeking up from behind my book I saw a guy staring at me with a huge grin on his face. I had no idea how long he had been

My Mate, Tamara

My Mate, Tamara

“Did you get a good look at it? Can you describe what kind of animal it was?” “I only heard the thing, but I did get a quick look at it in its yellow, almost glowing, eyes.” “I see.” Some awkward silence filled the air. “Where are we?” I asked, breaking the sudden silence. “Red River Falls, it’s a small town a few miles from the trail. This is my house.” I nodded as I remembered a town with the same name from one of the maps I looked at. My stomach grumbled loudly and my cheeks once again went red.

My Ancient Mate

My Ancient Mate

I didn’t even know where I gained the confidence to talk back at her. “Yes I am crazy, I am crazy for you” She replied in a sultry voice and smiled down at me. “ What about my fated mate? What if I find my mate?” I queried the crazy enchantress. Ryker roared, pacing in my mind like he had gone on a rampage. " She is our FARED MATE dummy" She growled loudly and her eyes started alternating between her hazel eyes and gold ones. I just knew I was in deep shit.

The Unexpected Mate

The Unexpected Mate

It reminds me of how we mate and mark our mates and how our scents join together. The apple and vanilla scent that is uniquely Everleigh has a slight under tone of earth and decay on top of the smells from the ones who volunteered their blood. So, who ever held her was either a vamp or a rogue. We will find this person and they will by no means go unpunished. They will have a life time of paying for what they did to my mate. That’s if I can keep from killing them within the first hour. I don’t know how much self-control I will have when it comes to the capture of the person responsible for this.

This is a great book but I hope that it has a second put. what happens to Zyaden mom and does Everleigh ever go back. Do they look for her. Do they keep the look a like. What happens to Desi kid. What happen to the pack as a whole now that she is gone. Where does she go and do her old pack find her

I really and truly LOVED this book. Yes, the ending was unexpected. Everleigh is too powerful and should be mated to only one fae mate. Or a fae/werewolf one. Grey and Zayne weren’t able to appreciate her. Actually, no one was able to appreciate her true self. I’m relieved she left them all.

THE ILL-FATED MATCH

THE ILL-FATED MATCH

After the attack, Nicholas and Beatrice had decided to leave the pack house and settle on the outskirts of Avalon hills which was quieter and had denser forest. He shed his clothes, took a deep breath and transformed into his wolf. He was larger than most werewolves because he was an alpha. His thick white fur shone under the crescent moon. He howled and broke into a run. His powerful paws pounded against the forest floor as he thought of a number of things that could go wrong because of the Moon goddess's match. Or maybe he was just overthinking it. Just because an ancestor who also happened to be Gabriel Adams had had a mate who was human and a witch doesn't mean Selena was a witch. It was

My Mysterious Mate

My Mysterious Mate

My heart pounds, my breaths grow shallow, and I struggle to maintain eye contact as he stares at me with an intensity that’s almost too much to bear. Well, it seems I have to choose this one. I wonder if my mother will even be able to handle his charm when he shows up on our doorstep. This one is so handsome and rugged, with the kind of confidence that makes women weak in their knees. I laugh inwardly at the thought, imagining the chaos that might ensue when she sets eyes on him. Poor mom, she won’t know what hit her. "Ryan, I was thinking..." I lean forward, forcing a smile to hide my blush. "I think we're a perfect match."

Winter's Lost Mate

Winter's Lost Mate

"You did." "Look, I'm not trying to say that you're a liar or that any of these is a lie, but the thing is, I don't seem to know any of these things you're talking to me about. I'm not whoever you're taking me to be. My name's Winter, not Vinci and I'm a girl and not a man —”

The Last Match Burns the Brightest

The Last Match Burns the Brightest

When I struck the match in my cramped rental apartment, my whole body trembled with excitement. I could not believe the truth was so close to me all along, and yet it had taken me so long to figure it out. The second the flame went out, I caught a glimpse of a tiny red dot flashing outside the window. I calmly held up the burned-out matchstick and made sure she could capture it on camera. Then, I texted Vera. [I've already made my third wish. In a few days, you'll definitely come begging me to spare you.]

Chasing My Runaway Mate And Triplets

Chasing My Runaway Mate And Triplets

“You can try to run again, but I’ll find you. You can hide your children, your husband, your name—but I’ll always find you.” Madeline’s hand shook, but she held her ground. “Not this time.” At that moment, the house lights flickered. The sound of footsteps came from the doorway. Madeline turned—and froze. Autumn stood there, wearing a black coat soaked with rain, her eyes cold and unreadable. “You,” Madeline whispered. Autumn tilted her head. “You didn’t think I came to your hospital by accident, did you?” “Why are you doing this?” Madeline demanded.

REBIRTH: MY EX HUSBAND WANTS A SECOND CHANCE

she said, her tone sharp with determination. She’d piqued Dexter’s curiosity, a spark of unease flickering within him. To be in Maverick’s inner circle, a person had to offer something valuable. Autumn, for instance, was the granddaughter of the reputable Helena Dawson. Helena, who had rescued her family from bankruptcy after her husband’s death, was revered; her legacy was alive in her only legitimate grandchild, Autumn, who bore a striking resemblance to her.
